The Duke of York this morning opened "Explosion!" at the Museum of Naval Firepower, Priddy's Hard, Gosport, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mrs. Christopher Fagan). His Royal Highness afterwards opened the Millennium Promenade, Portsmouth.

The Prince of Wales this morning departed Whitehorse for Toronto. His Royal Highness this evening hosted a reception, cultural performance and dinner at the Gooderhan and Worts Historic Site.

The Duke of Edinburgh, President Emeritus, World Wide Fund for Nature - WWF International, today, with The President of Romania, chaired the Heads of State Summit on Environment and Sustainable Development in the Danube-Carpathian Region, at the International Conference Centre, the Palace of Parliament, Bucharest, Romania.

The Prince of Wales this morning was received at Whitehorse City Hall by His Worship Ernie Bourassa, Mayor of Whitehorse, and attended the Presentation of Yukon Volunteer of the Year Award Ceremony. His Royal Highness later visited the Old Log Church where he was received by the Bishop of Yukon, the Right Reverend Terrence Buckle and attended morning service. The Prince of Wales this afternoon departed for the town of Mayo where he was greeted by the Mayor of Mayo, His Worship Bernard Menelon. His Royal Highness later visited the site of the JV Clark School. The Prince of Wales later attended a demonstration of arts and crafts at the Mayo Community Centre. Later His Royal Highness opened The Prince of Wales Trail, Mayo. The Prince of Wales this afternoon returned to Whitehorse airport. His Royal Highness this evening attended a reception and dinner hosted by the Government Leader the Honourable Pat Duncan.

The Duke of Edinburgh this morning laid a wreath at the Floriana War Memorial, Floriana, Malta. His Royal Highness afterwards visited the Maritime Museum, Vittoriosa. The Duke of Edinburgh, Life Member, later attended a Reception for members of the Royal British Legion (Malta Branch) at the Palace, Valletta. His Royal Highness this afternoon departed Malta for Romania and was received later at Otopeni Civilian Airport, Bucharest, by Her Majesty's Ambassador to Romania (His Excellency Mr. Richard Ralph). The Duke of Edinburgh, Founder and Patron, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award International Association, this evening attended a Reception for participants in the International Award for Young People at the Bucharest Marriott Grand Hotel. His Royal Highness, President Emeritus, World Wide Fund for Nature - WWF International, and The President of Romania later held a Dinner at the Cotroceni Palace, Bucharest.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Scottish Opera, was present this evening at a "Touch Tour" for the visually impaired at the Theatre Royal, Glasgow, and subsequently attended a performance of Don Giovanni.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award International Foundation, accompanied by The Countess of Wessex, this afternoon watched the closing stages of the inaugural golf competition for The Duke of Edinburgh Cup, before attending a lunch for the competitors, at Belas Camp do Golfe, Lisbon, Portugal. Later His Royal Highness presented the prizes for The Duke of Edinburgh Cup competition. The Earl and Countess of Wessex subsequently left Lisbon, Portugal for the United Kingdom. Her Majesty's Ambassador (His Excellency Sir John Holmes) was present and bade farewell to Their Royal Highnesses. This evening The Earl and Countess of Wessex arrived at Farnborough Airport. Lieutenant-Colonel Sean O'Dwyer was in attendance.

The Prince of Wales this morning departed for Saskatoon, where he was received at Saskatoon Airport by The Honourable Pat Lorjé MLA, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Provincial Secretary. His Royal Highness later visited Saskatoon Community Services Village. The Prince of Wales this afternoon attended a reception and luncheon hosted by the Premier of Saskatchewan, The Honourable Lorne Calvert MLA. His Royal Highness later visited the Meewasin Valley Authority Weir and opened The Prince of Wales Promenade. The Prince of Wales later visited the Wanuskewin Heritage Park where he was received by the Chief of the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations, Chief Perry Bellegarde. Later His Royal Highness departed Saskatoon. The Prince of Wales this evening arrived at Whitehorse Airport, where he was received by the Commissioner of the Yukon, The Honourable Jack Cable. His Royal Highness later attended the official welcome to the Yukon ceremony at the SS Klondike National Historic Site.
