Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Andrews today had the honour of being received by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, Colonel-in-Chief, 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards, upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer. Lieutenant Colonel Gil Baldwin also had the honour of being received by Her Majesty upon assuming his appointment as Commanding Officer, 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards.

The Princess Royal, Patron, British School of Osteopathy, today attended the Annual Graduation and Degree Conferment Ceremony at Kensington Town Hall, London W8.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this evening attended the Association of Royal Yachtsmen's Biennial Dinner at the Guildhall, Portsmouth, and were received by Mr. James Kenroy (Deputy Lieutenant of Hampshire).

The Prince of Wales, Colonel in Chief, this morning received Lieutenant Colonel Nicholas Millen upon relinquishing command of The Royal Dragoon Guards and Lieutenant Colonel Nicholas Freeman upon assuming command.

The Duke of Kent, as President of the Board of Trustees of the Imperial War Museum, this morning received the Odyssey Timeship Project, a record of wartime reminiscences, from the Royal Star and Garter Home at the Imperial War Museum, Lambeth Road, London SE1.

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Severn Valley Railway, this morning opened the new carriage sheds at the Severn Valley Railway Station, Kidderminster, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire (Mr. Michael Brinton). His Royal Highness this afternoon opened the new residential unit at Mary Stevens Hospice, Oldswinford, Stourbridge, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Mr. Robert Taylor).

Brigadier Jeremy Gaskell today had the honour of being received by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, Colonel-in-Chief, The King's Regiment, upon relinquishing his appointment as Colonel of the Regiment. Colonel Malcolm Grant-Haworth also had the honour of being received by Her Majesty upon assuming his appointment as Colonel of The King's Regiment.

The Princess Royal, President, Save the Children Fund, this afternoon attended a Corporate Members' Reception at Stationers' Hall, Ave Maria Lane, London EC4. Her Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of London, this evening attended a Dinner at Goldsmiths' Hall, Foster Lane, London EC2, to mark the One Hundred and Tenth Anniversary of the founding of the College.
