The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Disability Initiative, this afternoon received Mr. Neil Jones upon assuming his appointment as Chairman. Ms. Lucy Brown (Chief Executive) was present.

The Duke of York today carried out the following engagements in Tokyo, Japan. His Royal Highness this afternoon called upon the Prime Minister of Japan (Mr. Shinzo Abe) at Hotel Okura. The Duke of York later attended the Royal United Services Institute and Sasakawa Peace Foundation Conference at Hotel Okura. His Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception to mark the Royal United Services Institute and Sasakawa Peace Foundation Conference at Hotel Okura. The Duke of York later attended a Royal United Services Institute Dinner at Roppongi Hills Club.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning visited Clan Cancer Support, 120 Westburn Road, Aberdeen, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Aberdeen (Councillor George Adam, the Lord Provost).

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the Conservation Volunteers, this morning visited Dersingham Bog Natural Nature Reserve on the Sandringham Estate.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, Royal Colonel, this morning visited the 51st Highland, 7th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland at Barry Buddon Training Centre, Carnoustie, Angus. His Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon attended the National Police Memorial Day Service in St. David's Hall, the Hayes, Cardiff, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan (Dr. Peter Beck).

Divine Service was held in Crathie Parish Church this morning. The Reverend Colin Sinclair preached the Sermon.

The Duke of Kent, Patron, London Philharmonic Orchestra, this evening attended a Concert at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre, London SE1.

The Duke of York this morning arrived at Haneda Airport, Tokyo, and was received by Her Majesty's Ambassador to Japan (His Excellency Mr. Timothy Hitchens). Lieutenant Commander Michael Hutchinson is in attendance.

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum, and The Duchess of Gloucester this evening attended a Fundraising Concert in Gloucester Cathedral for the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association and were received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).

The Princess Royal this morning visited the restored Oystermouth Castle, Newton Road, the Mumbles, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of West Glamorgan (Mr. Byron Lewis). Her Royal Highness afterwards visited the 360 Beach and Watersports Centre, Mumbles Road, Swansea. The Princess Royal this afternoon visited Wales National Pool Swansea, Sketty Lane, Swansea. Her Royal Highness later visited Cardiff Youth Offending Service, the Rise, Penhill Road, Cardiff, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan (Dr. Peter Beck).
