The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Canine Partners for Independence, today attended the Driven Clay Challenge at Holywell House, Swanmore, Hampshire. The Duchess of Gloucester this morning toured Groznjan, Croatia. Her Royal Highness, Honorary President, the Lawn Tennis Association, this afternoon attended the Davis Cup Tie between Great Britain and Croatia and later attended a Reception at Stadion Stella Maris, Umag. The Duchess of Gloucester this evening attended a Dinner given by the President of the Croatian Tennis Association at Meliã Coral Hotel, Umag.

The Duchess of Gloucester this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Croatia, and was received upon arrival this afternoon by Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of Croatia (His Excellency Mr David Slinn). Her Royal Highness, Honorary President, the Lawn Tennis Association, this evening attended a Dinner at Mare e Monti, Stella Maris 8A, Umag, Croatia. Miss Lucinda Hanbury is in attendance.

The Earl of Wessex this morning visited Booth Brothers Limited, Bullhouse Mill, Lee Lane, Millhouse Green, Sheffield, and was received by Dr. Giles Bloomer (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire). His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Tata Speciality Steels, Manchester Road, Stocksbridge, Sheffield. The Earl of Wessex afterwards attended the Barnsley Town Hall Business Showcase at the Town Hall, Church Street, Barnsley, South Yorkshire. His Royal Highness, Honorary Air Commodore, attended the Battle of Britain Dining in Night at Royal Air Force Waddington, Lincolnshire. The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Bicentennial Celebrations, Border Union Agricultural Society, this morning attended Kelso Ram Sales at Springwood Park, Kelso, Roxburghshire, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Roxburgh, Ettrick and Lauderdale (Captain the Hon. Gerald Maitland-Carew).

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, the Great Steward of Scotland's Dumfries House Trust, this morning presented certificates to the Dumfries House Volunteer Police Cadets at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire. His Royal Highness, Patron, Penny Brohn Cancer Care, was represented by Dr. Michael Dixon (Chairman of Council, the College of Medicine) at the Funeral of Mrs. Patricia Pilkington (Co-Founder, Penny Brohn Cancer Care, formerly Bristol Cancer Help Centre) which was held in St. Andrew's Church, Chew Magna, Bristol, this afternoon.

As you might have gathered, Catherine and I have recently become proud parents of a baby who has a voice to match any lion’s roar! This is actually our first evening out without him, so please excuse us if you see us nervously casting surreptitious glances at our mobile phones to check all is well back home.

The Duchess of Gloucester, President, Royal School of Needlework, this afternoon received Mr. Nicholas Rochez (Chairman) and Dr. Susan Kay-Williams (Chief Executive). Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, The Bermuda Regiment, received the Governor of Bermuda (His Excellency Mr. George Fergusson). The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Patron, Prostate Cancer UK, this evening attended a Gala Dinner at Millennium Hotel London Mayfair, 44 Grosvenor Square, London W1.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Injured Jockeys Fund, this morning attended the Society of Equestrian Art exhibition "the Horse in Art 2013", and viewed the entries for the Injured Jockeys Fund Fiftieth Anniversary Calendar, Mall Galleries, the Mall, London SW1. Her Royal Highness, President, Royal Yachting Association, and Patron, International Dragon Class World Championships 2013, this afternoon attended the International Dragon World Championships at Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy, Osprey Quay, Portland, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset (Mrs. Anthony Pitt-Rivers).

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, today held Receptions at St. James's Palace for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award. His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award International Foundation, this afternoon held a Meeting. The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Association of Show and Agricultural Organisations, this morning attended Westmorland County Show, Lane Farm, Crooklands, Milnthorpe, and was received by the Lord Inglewood (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cumbria).

The Duke of York today attended The Duke of York Young Champions Trophy at the Royal St. George's Golf Club, Sandwich, Kent.

The Duke of Cambridge, Patron, Tusk Trust, and The Duchess of Cambridge this evening attended the inaugural Tusk Conservation Awards at the Royal Society, Carlton House Terrace, London SW1.
