The Duke of Cambridge is currently involved in a number of initiatives to expand his work in the field of conservation, particularly in respect of protecting endangered species and habitats.

Through his Foundation, His Royal Highness has brought together an unprecedented collaboration between seven of the world’s most influential conservation organisations and the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.

The Princess Royal this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Argentina.

The Countess of Wessex, Colonel-in-Chief, Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps, this afternoon received Colonel Peter Childerley upon relinquishing his appointment as Director of Army Nursing and Colonel David Bates upon assuming the appointment.

The Duke of Cambridge, Patron, Skillforce, and Prince Henry of Wales, Patron, WellChild, this morning attended BGC Trading Day in aid of Their Royal Highnesses' charities at One Churchill Place, Canary Wharf, London E14. Prince Henry of Wales, Patron, WellChild, this evening attended an Awards Ceremony at the Dorchester, Park Lane, London W1, and was received by Dr. Paul Knapman (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon held a Garden Party at Clarence House to mark the Twenty First Anniversary of Duchy Originals. The Prince of Wales later received Admiral Sir George Zambellas upon assuming the appointment of Chief of the Naval Staff. His Royal Highness, Founder, Mosaic, received His Excellency Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al-Thani. The Prince of Wales received Dr. Simon Thurley (Chief Executive, English Heritage). His Royal Highness, Founder, Mosaic, this evening held a Reception for the Mosaic International Leadership Programme.

By command of The Queen, Mr. Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon Her Excellency Ms. Anne Hedensted Steffensen at 2 Hans Street, London SW1, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquishing her appointment as Ambassador from Denmark to the Court of St. James's.

The Duke of York this evening attended a Reception for the Mosaic International Leadership Programme at Clarence House. His Royal Highness later gave a Dinner for Rear Admiral Umio Otsuka (Director General for Command, Control and Intelligence, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force) at Buckingham Palace.

The Duchess of Gloucester, President, this afternoon visited the Royal Alexandra and Albert School, Gatton Park, Reigate, and presented the inaugural Duchess of Gloucester Cup, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Dame Sarah Goad). Her Royal Highness afterwards opened Sandcross Primary School, Sandcross Lane, Reigate. The Duchess of Gloucester later visited the Triumphal Arch, Tunnel Road, Reigate, to commemorate the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the granting of a Royal Charter to the Borough of Reigate and Banstead.

The Princess Royal, Member, International Olympic Committee, today attended the One Hundred and Twenty Fifth International Olympic Committee Session in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her Royal Highness later departed from Buenos Aires for the United Kingdom.

The Earl of Wessex, Patron, British Paralympic Association, this morning held a Meeting. His Royal Highness this afternoon received the Rt. Hon. Philip Hammond MP (Secretary of State for Defence). The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, and Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award International Foundation, afterwards held a Meeting. His Royal Highness, Master, the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, this evening attended the Best of British Gala at Guildhall, Gresham Street, London EC2. The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Vision 2020: the Right to Sight, this morning held a Meeting. Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Healing Foundation, afterwards held a Meeting. The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, this afternoon attended the judging of the Giving Voice Photography Competition at 2 White Hart Yard, London SE1. Her Royal Highness, Patron, Mencap, later held a Meeting.
