The Band of the Coldstream Guards set to entertain crowds along the procession route

Entertainment in the form of show tunes, pop songs and sing-along ditties will be provided to crowds lined along the wedding procession route on the day of the Royal Wedding.

The Band of the Coldstream Guards are aiming to create a lively atmosphere on the day.

On the wedding day more than five military bands from across the three services will be stationed at various points along the route from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey.

Lieutenant Colonel Graham Jones, is the Band of the Coldstream's Director of Music. 

He is also senior director of music Household Division and is responsible for all five foot guards' bands - Scots, Welsh, Irish, Coldstream and Grenadier - who play at major ceremonial events like Trooping the Colour and the State Opening of Parliament.

During a rehearsal today, the Band of the Coldstream Guards led F company Scots

Guards as they marched from their Wellington Barracks to nearby Buckingham Palace for the Changing the Guard ceremony.

Crowds gathered outside Buckingham Palace to watch the soldiers pass.
