The Countess of Wessex visits Haslar Marina

Today The Countess of Wessex, Patron of The Association of Sail Training Organisations and Lady Louise Windsor visited Haslar Marina in Gosport.

The Countess met representatives of the Association of Sail Training Organisations before boarding the Donald Searle for a trip out to the Solent.

The Association of Sail Training Organisations before issues grants throughout the year from the estate of a British novelist Hammond Innes, to member organisation to ensure that Sail Training is accessible to all across the UK, regardless of age or ability.

The Association of Sail Training Organisations - is the UK's National Sail Training Organisation made up of more than 30 not-for-profit organisations that operate more than 50 Sail Training vessels for those wanted to learn.

The Countess of  Wessex and Lady Louise joined ten girls on board the Donald Searle and five volunteer adult crew members.
