Her Royal Highness, Royal Patron, Motor Neurone Disease Association, later attended a Rugby League Reception at Leeds Rhinos Rugby League Football Club, Headingley Rugby Stadium, St. Michael's Lane, Headingley, Leeds, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire (Mr. Edmund Anderson).

The Duke of Edinburgh, President, Sport and Recreation Alliance, and The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron, British Cycling Federation, this afternoon attended the British Cycling National Track Championships at the National Cycling Centre, Stuart Street, Manchester, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mrs. Diane Hawkins).
