The Prince of Wales this afternoon visited St. John's Church Hall, Surrey Road, Poole, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset (Mr. Angus Campbell).

His Royal Highness later visited Maindee Primary School, Rodney Road, Newport, Monmouthshire, and was received by Professor Simon Gibson (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Gwent).

The Prince of Wales subsequently visited a housing development at Hill Street Car Park, 17 Park Square, Newport.

The Princess Royal, Member, Icelandic Horse Society of Great Britain, today attended the British Championships and Summer Festival at Washbrook Farm, Welsh Road, Aston le Walls, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Northamptonshire (Mr. James Saunders Watson).
