The Earl and Countess of Wessex, on behalf of The Queen in celebration of Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee, today carried out the following engagements in St. Vincent in the Windward Islands.
The Earl of Wessex this morning visited the Diamond Track, St. George.
His Royal Highness afterwards visited Arnos Vale Stadium, near Kingstown.
The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation, and The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, later attended a Reception at Government House for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award and were received by the Governor-General of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (Dame Susan Dougan).
Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon attended a Luncheon at Government House given by the Governor-General of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex afterwards visited the Botanical Garden, Old Montrose, Kingstown.
Their Royal Highnesses later called upon the Hon. Montgomery Daniel, MP (Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines) at the Prime Minister's Residence in Kingstown.
The Countess of Wessex this morning visited Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Community College.
