The Princess Royal this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Namibia.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended the British Horseracing Authority's Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards at Ascot Racecourse, Berkshire.

The King was represented by The Princess Royal at the Burial Service for Dr. Hage Gottfried Geingob (former President of the Republic of Namibia) which was held at Heroes' Acre, Windhoek, Namibia, this morning and this afternoon attended a State Luncheon given by The President of the Republic of Namibia at State House, Auasblick, Windhoek.

St. James's Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, President, Sport and Recreation Alliance, and The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron, British Cycling Federation, this afternoon attended the British Cycling National Track Championships at the National Cycling Centre, Stuart Street, Manchester, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mrs. Diane Hawkins).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Royal Exchange Theatre Company, afterwards visited the Royal Exchange Theatre, St. Ann's Square, Manchester.

The Duke of Edinburgh later visited University Academy 92 and Shockout Arts, Valo Building, Talbot Road, Stretford, Greater Manchester.

The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Patron, Global Heritage Fund UK, this morning received Mr. Patrick Franco (Chairman), Ms. Hélène Shafran (Chairman, World Monuments Fund Britain) and Mr. Magnus von Wistinghausen (Executive Director, World Monuments Fund Britain).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Homeopathy UK, this afternoon received Ms. Cristal Skaling-Klopstock upon relinquishing her appointment as Chief Executive Officer.

The Queen, also representing The King, and The Duchess of Gloucester this morning presented The Queen's Anniversary Prizes for Higher and Further Education at Buckingham Palace, at which The Duke of Gloucester was present, and afterwards Her Majesty, accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses, gave a Reception.

The Princess Royal this morning visited London South Bank Technical College and Lee Marley Academy, Belmore Street, Wandsworth Road, London SW8, and was received by Professor David Phoenix (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Save the Children UK, afterwards visited Mary's Living and Giving Shop, 531 Old York Road, London SW18, and was received by Mrs. Colleen Harris (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
