    By command of Her Majesty, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon Her Excellency Ms. Nomatemba Tambo at South Africa House, Trafalgar Square, London WC2, this morning in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquishing her appointment as High Commissioner for the Republic of South Africa in London.

    The Duchess of Gloucester this morning viewed the 'Tenun Pahang: Weaving Hope' Exhibition at the Malaysian High Commission, 45 Belgrave Square, London SW1, and was received by The Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia.

    Her Royal Highness this afternoon viewed the 'Tenun Pahang: Weaving Hope' Exhibition at the Malaysian High Commission, 45 Belgrave Square, London SW1, and was received by The Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia.

    The Princess Royal, President, World Horse Welfare and Riding for the Disabled Association, this evening attended a Dinner at the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment, Hyde Park Barracks, Knightsbridge, London SW7.

    The Duke of Cambridge and The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, Action for Children, this morning visited St. John's Primary School, Mary Street, Port Glasgow, and were received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Renfrewshire (Colonel Peter McCarthy)

    Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited the Wheatley Group, Kennishead Avenue, Thornliebank, Glasgow, and were received by Mr. John McLeod (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow).

    The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge subsequently visited the University of Glasgow.

    The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Reception to mark the One Hundred and Twenty Fifth Anniversary of "Country Life" magazine at Claridge's, Brook Street, London W1.

    The Queen held a Privy Council via video link at 2.30 p.m..

    There were present: the Rt. Hon. Mark Spencer MP (Lord President), the Rt. Hon. Dr. Thérèse Coffey MP (Secretary of State for Work and Pensions), the Rt. Hon. Brandon Lewis MP (Secretary of State for Northern Ireland) and the Rt. Hon. Nadhim Zahawi MP (Secretary of State for Education).

    The Lord Tyre made affirmation as a member of Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council.

    Mr. Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

    The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, and The Duchess of Cornwall gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace.

    The Princess Royal, The Duke of Kent and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent were present.

    Her Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The Queen's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.

    The Bands of the Royal Marines Portsmouth and the Royal Air Force Squadronaires played selections of music during the afternoon.

    Her Royal Highness, President, the City and Guilds of London Institute, this afternoon met representatives from the Thames Skills Academy onboard MV EDWARDIAN, Butler's Wharf Pier, Shad Thames, London SE1, and was received by Professor David Phoenix (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

    The Princess Royal later received Princess Astrid of Belgium and afterwards Their Royal Highnesses laid wreaths at the Edith Cavell Monument, 10 St. Martin's Place, London WC2, and were received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa).

    The Earl and Countess of Wessex this morning planted a tree in celebration of The Queen's Platinum Jubilee at Forest Primary School, Rue des Landes, Alderney.

    Their Royal Highnesses subsequently visited the Alderney Railway, 7 Rue de Beaumont, St. Anne, Alderney.

    The Earl and Countess of Wessex visited Alderney Wildlife Trust Office, 48 Victoria Street, St Anne, to mark their Twentieth Anniversary.

    Their Royal Highnesses later attended a Reception with the States of Alderney political representatives and representatives from the emergency services at Island Hall, Royal Connaught Square, Alderney.

    The Earl and Countess of Wessex subsequently planted a tree in commemoration of The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, Sark.

    Their Royal Highnesses later attended a Reception at Island Hall, Rue de La Seigneurie, Sark.
