    The Princess Royal, Patron, Beef Shorthorn Cattle Society, and Patron, Shorthorn Society of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, this morning visited the Societies at the Great Yorkshire Show, Harrogate, to commemorate the Bicentenary of the Shorthorn breed and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of North Yorkshire (Mrs. Johanna Ropner).

    Her Royal Highness, Royal Fellow, this evening attended the Royal Academy of Engineering's Annual Awards Dinner at the Londoner Hotel, 38 Leicester Square, London WC2, and was received by Mr. Stuart Shilson (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

    The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall this afternoon chaired a Meeting of The Prince's Council at Clarence House.

    His Royal Highness, on behalf of The Queen, this evening gave a Reception at Buckingham Palace for winners of The Queen's Awards for Enterprise.

    The Princess Royal, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy were present.

    The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon attended a Luncheon at the National Liberal Club, 1 Whitehall Place, London SW1, given by the Oldie magazine in celebration of Her Royal Highness's Seventy Fifth Birthday, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa).

    The Queen, accompanied by The Prince of Wales, this afternoon received representatives from the Health Services of the four Nations of the United Kingdom and presented George Crosses to NHS England, Northern Ireland Health and Social Care System, NHS Scotland and NHS Wales.

    The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

    The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, this morning officially opened the Heart and Lung Research Institute at the Royal Papworth Hospital, Papworth Road, Cambridge Biomedical Campus, Cambridge, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire (Mrs. Julie Spence).

    Her Royal Highness this afternoon officially opened the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre at North Cambridgeshire Hospital, the Park, Wisbech, and was received by Mrs. Belinda Sutton (Deputy Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire).
