The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh this afternoon visited the Barn Arts Centre, Woodend, Banchory, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Kincardineshire (Mr. Alastair Macphie).

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited Bogenraith Equestrian Centre, Durris, Banchory.

The Princess Royal this morning opened the new North Atlantic Treaty Organisation Allied Rapid Reaction Corps Headquarters Accommodation at the Officers' Mess, Imjin Barracks, Gloucester, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Mr. Edward Gillespie).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre and Ministry of Defence Medal Office at Innsworth House, Imjin Barracks, and was received by Mr. Mark Hurrell (Deputy Lieutenant of Gloucestershire).

The Princess Royal, Patron, Stroud Hospital League of Friends, later visited Stroud Maternity Unit, Field Road, Stroud, and was received by Dr. Roger Deeks (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire).

The Duke of Edinburgh this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Uganda.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh this afternoon gave a Luncheon for His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenants from the Wessex region.

Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr. Mbelwa Kairuki was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the United Republic of Tanzania in London.

His Excellency Mr. Ng Teck Hean was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Singapore in London.

Mrs. Mok Ling Ling was also received by His Majesty.

Ms. Corin Robertson (Director General, Finance and Corporate, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office) was present.

The Queen this morning visited Coffey's Butchers, Arcadia Delicatessen and Knott's Bakery at 380, 378 and 376 Lisburn Road, Belfast, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast (Dame Fionnuala Jay-O'Boyle).

Her Majesty, Colonel-in-Chief, The Rifles, later attended the 2nd Battalion Pass Off Parade at Thiepval Barracks, Magheralave Road, Lisburn, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of County Antrim (Mr. David McCorkell).

The Queen, Patron, The Queen's Reading Room, this afternoon attended a Performance and Reception at Hillsborough Castle.

Her Royal Highness later attended the Commonwealth Youth Orchestra and Choir Presentation Concert at Spencer House, St. James's Place, London SW1, and was received by Dame Kathryn McDowell (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
