The Princess Royal, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this afternoon.

St. James's Palace

The Princess Royal, Royal Fellow, the Royal Academy of Engineering, this evening attended the Tenth Anniversary Reception of the Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation at Prince Philip House, 3 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa).

Appendix To Court Circular

The Princess Royal has been pleased to make the following appointments as Extra Ladies in Waiting to Her Royal Highness: Lady McFarlane, the Lady Elizabeth Leeming, Mrs. John Armstrong, Mrs. Dolly Maude and Mrs. Simon Rhodes upon the retirement of the following Ladies in Waiting: Lady Carew Pole, the Hon. Dame Shân Legge-Bourke, Dame Rowena Feilden and Mrs. Brian Hammond.

Colonel John Boyd to be appointed Private Secretary to The Princess Royal upon Mr. Charles Davies relinquishing his appointment.

The appointments to date from 1st February, 2024.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Lighthouse, this afternoon visited the Lighthouse Barnsbury, 30 Ash Road, Barnsbury, and was received by Mr. Erik Jespersen (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).

Buckingham Palace

The Queen this morning attended a Reception at Windsor Castle for contributors to the new Miniature Library Collection displayed alongside Queen Mary's Dolls' House to mark the Dolls' House's Centenary.

St. James's Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, Save the Children UK, this morning visited a Shop, 55 London Road, Stockton Heath, Warrington, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire (Lady Redmond).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Jodrell Bank Observatory UNESCO World Heritage Site at the University of Manchester, Macclesfield, Cheshire.

The Princess Royal, President, Riding for the Disabled Association, later opened the new Centre and Platinum Jubilee Stables at Reaseheath Equestrian College, Nantwich, Cheshire.

By command of The King, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon Her Excellency Mrs. Bárbara Elena Montalvo Alvarez at 12 Grove End Road, London NW8, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquishing her appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Cuba to the Court of St. James's.

Ms. Roxane Zand (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) was present at St. Pancras International Railway Station this afternoon upon the Arrival of The President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The King.

St. James's Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, accompanied by the Governor of St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan Da Cunha (His Excellency Air Commodore Nigel Phillips), this morning officially opened St. Helena International Airport before departing for Ascension Island.

His Royal Highness was received later upon arrival at Royal Air Force Ascension Island by His Honour Simon Minshull (Administrator, Ascension Island Government).

The Duke of Edinburgh attended a Reception with representatives of the local community.

His Royal Highness this evening arrived at Royal Air Force Brize Norton from Ascension Island.

Brigadier Alexander Potts was in attendance.
