    The Duke of Kent, Royal Colonel, 1st Battalion The Rifles, today received Lieutenant Colonel Mark Shercliff upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Colin Oliver upon assuming the appointment.

    The Duke of Kent, Patron, Boundless by Civil Service Motoring Association, this afternoon attended a Luncheon at the Royal Automobile Club, 89 Pall Mall, London SW1, to mark the Fiftieth Year of His Royal Highness's Patronage and was received by Mr. Kevin Traverse-Healy (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

    The Prince of Wales this morning visited Tebay Services (Southbound) beside the M6 Motorway near Penrith and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cumbria (Mrs. Peter Hensman).

    His Royal Highness this afternoon met business owners and members of the farming community, and resettled refugee families near Penrith.

    The Prince of Wales afterwards visited Typhon Treatment Systems Limited (Cumwhinton), Wetheral Pasture, Carlisle.

    His Royal Highness later held a Community Cohesion Meeting at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire.

    The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, The Prince's Foundation, this evening received the Baroness Lawrence of Clarendon.

    His Royal Highness afterwards held a Dinner at Dumfries House.

    The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited Jane Austen's House, Winchester Road, Chawton, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr. Nigel Atkinson).

    Her Royal Highness, President, the Maggie Keswick Jencks Cancer Caring Centres Trust, later officially opened Maggie's Southampton, 101 Tremona Road, Southampton, and was received by the Hon. Hugo Cubitt (Deputy Lieutenant of Hampshire).

    The Queen, Patron, Royal London Hospital, this afternoon officially opened and named the Queen Elizabeth Unit at the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel Road, London E1, via video link and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), Dame Alwen Williams (Group Chief Executive, Barts Health NHS Trust) and Mrs. Jacqueline Sullivan (Chief Executive, Royal London Hospital).

    Her Majesty met staff who have worked on the unit during the pandemic and heard about their roles in treating patients with Covid-19.

    His Royal Highness afterwards visited Kromek Group plc, Netpark, Thomas Wright Way, Sedgefield, County Durham.

    The Prince of Wales this afternoon received The Queen of Spain at Auckland Castle, Market Place, Bishop Auckland, County Durham.

    His Royal Highness and Her Majesty afterwards officially opened the Spanish Gallery in Market Place, Bishop Auckland.

    The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, Royal Society of Literature of the United Kingdom, this afternoon received Mrs. Bernadine Evaristo upon assuming her appointment as President.

    Her Royal Highness later held a Tea at Clarence House to celebrate the Olivier Awards.

    His Excellency Mr. Pascal Gayama was received in audience by The Queen today via video link and presented his Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of the Congo to the Court of St. James's.

    His Excellency Mr. Salah Mrehil was received in audience by The Queen via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Libya to the Court of St. James's.

    Mrs. Hanaa Gbasa was also received by Her Majesty.

    Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

    The Princess Royal, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this afternoon.
