    His Excellency Mr. Hajime Hayashi was received in audience by The Queen today via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Japan to the Court of St. James's.

    Mrs. Hayashi was also received by Her Majesty.

    His Excellency Mr. Joao Vale de Almeida was received in audience by The Queen via video link and presented his Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the European Union to the Court of St. James's.

    Mrs. Ana Jara de Carvalho was also received by Her Majesty.

    The Queen this evening held a Reception at Windsor Castle to mark the Global Investment Summit.

    The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Prince Michael of Kent, with the Lord Frederick Windsor, were present.
