Mr. Simon Ovens (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, today upon the Arrival of the Governor-General of Belize and welcomed Her Excellency on behalf of The King.

Ms. Manju Malhi (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, today upon the Arrival of the Governor-General of Papua New Guinea and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of His Majesty.

Buckingham Palace

The King today attended the start of the London leg of the Australian Legacy Centenary Torch Relay in the Quadrangle of Buckingham Palace and received the High Commissioner for the Commonwealth of Australia in London (His Excellency the Hon. Stephen Smith), the Chairman of Legacy Australia (Mr. Eric Easterbrook) and the Head of the Australian Defence Staff in London (Brigadier Grant Mason).

The King this afternoon received representatives from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police at Windsor Castle upon His Majesty's appointment as Commissioner-in-Chief and to mark the Institution's One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary.

The King was received in the Quadrangle with a Royal Salute and Mr. Michael Duheme (Commissioner of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police) presented His Majesty with the Ceremonial Sword and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Horse, Noble.

The High Commissioner for Canada in London (His Excellency the Hon. Ralph Goodale) was present.

Kensington Palace

The Prince and Princess of Wales this morning visited Aberfan Cemetery, Aberfan, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Mid Glamorgan (Mr. Peter Vaughan).

Their Royal Highnesses later visited the Aberfan Disaster Memorial Garden, 13 Moy Road, Aberfan, and met local people who were involved in the disaster.

St. James's Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Canada.

Captain Andrew Aspden RN was in attendance.

Buckingham Palace

The King, accompanied by The Queen Consort, this afternoon presented a new Standard and Colours at Buckingham Palace.

The King presented a new Standard to the Life Guards of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment and was received at The King's Door by Lieutenant General Sir Edward Smyth-Osbourne (Gold Stick-in-Waiting) and General Sir Patrick Sanders (Chief of the General Staff) before moving to the Quadrangle and being received with a Royal Salute.

After the Standard was consecrated, The King presented the new Standard to the Regiment.

The Parade subsequently marched past His Majesty and off Parade.

The King, accompanied by The Queen Consort, presented new Colours to the Royal Navy, the Grenadier Guards and the Royal Air Force and was received by Admiral Sir Antony Radakin (Chief of the Defence Staff) and the Bishop to the Forces (the Right Reverend Hugh Nelson).

Their Majesties were received in the Garden with a Royal Salute.

After the Colours were consecrated, The King presented new Colours to the Royal Navy, the Grenadier Guards and the Royal Air Force.

His Majesty was graciously pleased to address the Parade and the Chief of the Defence Staff replied.

The Parade subsequently marched past The King and The Queen Consort and off Parade.

Later, the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba (the Hon. Anita Neville) was received by The King.

Ms. Jessica Neville (daughter) was also received by His Majesty.

The Lieutenant Governor of Alberta (the Hon. Salma Lakhani) was received by The King.

His Honour Mr. Zaheer Lakhani was also received by His Majesty.

The King was represented by The Duke of Kent at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Field Marshal the Lord Bramall KG (formerly Chief of the Defence Staff) which was held in Winchester Cathedral this afternoon.

The Queen Consort was represented by The Duchess of Gloucester.

The Princess Royal was represented by Marshal of the Royal Air Force the Lord Stirrup KG.

The Duke of Gloucester was present.

Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy was represented by the Marquess of Salisbury KG.

Kensington Palace

The Prince of Wales, Patron, Wales Air Ambulance, and The Princess of Wales this afternoon attended a training session with Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team, Morlais Quarry, Pontsticill Road, Pant, to mark the Rescue Team's Sixtieth Anniversary, and were received by Mr. Peter Vaughan (His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Mid Glamorgan)

St. James's Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation, today carried out engagements in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, accompanied by the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia (the Hon. Janet Austin).

His Royal Highness this morning attended an Award in Business Breakfast at the Vancouver Club, 915 West Hastings Street.

The Duke of Edinburgh afterwards attended an Award Leader Summit at York House School, 4176 Alexandra Street.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Meeting with Local Indigenous Leadership and Youth Representatives at Fairmont Waterfront Hotel, 900 Canada Place Way.

The Duke of Edinburgh subsequently attended a Reception with British Columbia Local Council Members at Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel, 1038 Canada Place.

His Royal Highness later attended a Reception for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award, Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel.

The Duke of Edinburgh this evening departed from Vancouver International Airport for the United Kingdom.

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron, Scar Free Foundation, this morning received Mr. Brendan Eley upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief Executive and Lieutenant General Richard Nugee upon assuming the appointment.

Her Royal Highness, Member, Women's Institute, later attended a Reception at Windlesham Golf Club, Grove End, Bagshot, and was received by Mrs. Caroline Bracknell (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).

St. James's Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, Livability, this morning attended a 'Changes for the Future' Forum at 6 Mitre Passage, London SE10, and was received by Mr. Matthew Burrows (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Admiral of the Sea Cadet Corps, later opened the National Support Centre and attended a Cadet Forum at 200B Lambeth Road, London SE1, and was received by Mr. Christopher Wellbelove (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Princess Royal, Patron, Learning and Work Institute, this afternoon attended an 'Art for the People' Forum at City Lit, 1 - 10 Keeley Street, London WC2, and was received by Ms. Roxane Zand (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Farms for City Children, later received Ms. Rachel Goult upon her appointment as Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Mrs. Donna Edmonds upon her appointment as Chief Executive Officer.

The Princess Royal, President, The Duke of Edinburgh's Commonwealth Study Conferences, this evening held a Dinner at St. James's Palace for the Commonwealth Study Conferences Canada's President's Council and the Study Conference 2023.

The Duke of Kent, Grand Master, United Grand Lodge of England, this afternoon presided at the Annual Investiture of the Supreme Grand Chapter at Freemasons' Hall, 60 Great Queen Street, London WC2.

Buckingham Palace

The King and The Queen Consort this afternoon visited the set of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 at Marks and Spencer Bank Arena, King's Dock, Port of Liverpool, 16 Monarchs Quay, Liverpool, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside (Mr. Mark Blundell), the Director-General of the British Broadcasting Corporation (Mr Timothy Davie) and the Mayor of Liverpool (Councillor Joanne Anderson).

Their Majesties, escorted by the Director-General, Ms. Charlotte Moore (Chief Content Officer, British Broadcasting Corporation) and Mr. Martin Green (Managing Director, Eurovision 2023, British Broadcasting Corporation), toured the backstage areas, meeting members of the production team and apprentices, before officially unveiling the Eurovision stage, viewing a rehearsal and meeting presenters, the contestant representing the United Kingdom and Arena members of staff.

The King and The Queen Consort afterwards visited Liverpool Central Library, William Brown Street, Liverpool, to mark the Library's twinning with the National Scientific Library in Odesa, Ukraine, and were received by the Ambassador from Ukraine to the Court of St. James's (His Excellency Mr. Vadym Prystaiko), the Chief Executive of Liverpool City Council (Ms. Theresa Grant) and the Director of Culture Liverpool (Ms. Claire McColgan).

Their Majesties, escorted by the Chief Executive and the Director, listened to a poetry recital, viewed choir and opera performances, observed chess matches and met members of the Ukrainian community and Ukrainian families settled in Liverpool with their host families.

The King also met representatives from The Prince's Trust and the Professional Teaching Institute.

The Queen Consort joined a storytelling session with a class of school children as part of the Liverpool Learning Partnership Creative Writing and Reading Programme.

Later, the Rt. Hon. Rishi Sunak MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of His Majesty.

The King held a Council at 6.30 p.m..

There were present: the Rt. Hon. Penelope Mordaunt MP (Lord President), the Rt. Hon. Oliver Dowden MP (Deputy Prime Minister, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Secretary of State in the Cabinet Office), the Rt. Hon. Christopher Heaton-Harris MP (Secretary of State for Northern Ireland) and the Rt. Hon. Damian Hinds MP (Minister for Prisons, Parole and Probation).

Mr. Alexander Chalk MP was sworn in as a Member of His Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council.

The Rt. Hon. Alexander Chalk MP took the Oaths of Office, kissed hands upon appointment and received the Seals of Office as Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice.

Mr. Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

The Rt. Hon. Sir Clive Alderton (Principal Private Secretary to Their Majesties) and the Rt. Hon. Sir Edward Young (Joint Principal Private Secretary to His Majesty) were in attendance on The King.

The Rt. Hon. Penelope Mordaunt MP had an audience of His Majesty before the Council.

The King was represented by General the Lord Dannatt (formerly Chief of the General Staff) at the Funeral of Mr. Bryn Parry (Co-Founder, Help for Heroes) which was held in Salisbury Cathedral, Wiltshire, this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales was represented by Lieutenant Commander James Benbow RN.

The King was represented by Mrs. Susan Lousada (His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire) at the Service of Thanksgiving for Sir Samuel Whitbread (formerly His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire) which was held in St. Paul's Church, St. Paul's Square, Bedford, this afternoon.

The Princess Royal was represented by Captain Sir Nicholas Wright RN.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were represented by Mr. Christopher Sharwood-Smith.

The Duke and Duchess of Kent were represented by Mr. Nicolas Adamson.
