    His Excellency Mr. Mansoor Abulhoul was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the United Arab Emirates to the Court of St. James's. Mrs. Victoria Devin was also received by Her Majesty. His Excellency Prince Khalid bin Bandar Al Saud was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Court of St. James's. Princess Lucy Al Saud was also received by Her Majesty. Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present. Air Chief Marshal Michael Wigston was received by The Queen upon his appointment as Chief of the Air Staff.

    The Duke of Gloucester this morning presented The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service to Dyscover Limited, Leatherhead Court, Woodlands Road, Leatherhead, and was received by Mr. Richard Whittington (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey). His Royal Highness afterwards presented The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service to the Patchworking Garden Project, Aviva Plc (formerly Friends Life), Sports Ground, Pixham Lane, Dorking, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Mr. Michael More-Molyneux). The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon presented The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service to Stripey Stork, 51a Albert Road North, Reigate, Surrey. His Royal Highness subsequently visited the Young Men's Christian Association East Surrey, Sports and Community Centre, Princes Road, Redhill.

Her Royal Highness, Global Ambassador, 100 Women in Finance, this afternoon attended a Luncheon at 351 East 51st Street, New York, and was received by Her Majesty's Consul-General for New York (Mr. Antony Phillipson). The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, 100 Women in Finance, later attended a Reception followed by a Panel Discussion at UBS Financial Services, 1285 6th Avenue, New York.
