Buckingham Palace

The King and Queen this morning visited St. Paul's Church, Bedford Street, London WC2, to mark its Three Hundred and Ninetieth Anniversary and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa) and the Rector (the Reverend Simon Grigg).

Their Majesties, escorted by the Rector, entered the Church via the Diamond Jubilee Garden and met trustees, churchwardens and members of Church staff.

The King met representatives from the Covent Garden Community Association, actors and members of the theatre community.

The Queen met representatives from the Drama for Healing Group.

Their Majesties afterwards walked through the West Piazza and were received at the Apple Market by the Chief Executive Officer of Shaftesbury Capital (Mr. Ian Hawksworth).

The King, escorted by the Chief Executive Officer, and The Queen, escorted by Ms. Michelle McGrath (Executive Director, Shaftesbury Capital), visited stallholders in Covent Garden Market before continuing on foot towards the Royal Opera House and being received at the Colonnade by the Chairman of the Royal Opera House (Sir Lloyd Dorfman) and meeting performers, students of the Royal Ballet School and members of Royal Opera House staff.

The King this afternoon held a Reception for The Prince's Trust Awards at Buckingham Palace.

The King held a Council at 4.00 p.m..

There were present: the Rt. Hon. Penelope Mordaunt MP (Lord President), the Rt. Hon. Olukemi Badenoch MP (Secretary of State for Business and Trade), the Rt. Hon. Lucy Frazer MP (Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport), the Rt. Hon. Alister Jack MP (Secretary of State for Scotland) and the Rt. Hon. Chloe Smith MP (Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology).

Mr. Humza Yousaf MSP (First Minister of Scotland) was sworn in as a Member of His Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council.

The Rt. Hon. Chloe Smith MP made affirmation, kissed hands upon appointment and received the Seal of Office as Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology.

Mr. Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

The Rt. Hon. Penelope Mordaunt MP had an audience of His Majesty before the Council.

The Rt. Hon. Humza Yousaf MSP (First Minister of the Scottish Government) was received in audience by The King.

The Duke of Edinburgh this evening attended the Stone of Destiny Thank You Reception at Edinburgh Castle.

The Duchess of Edinburgh this morning visited the Children's Sailing Trust, Trevassack Lake, Helston, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (Colonel Edward Bolitho).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Falmouth University, Falmouth Campus, Woodlane, Falmouth.

The Duchess of Edinburgh later visited Colwith Farm Distillery, Crewell Moor, Pelyn Cross, Lanlivery.

St. James's Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, Women's Royal Naval Service Benevolent Trust, this morning attended the Annual General Meeting and a Reception at the Warrant Officers' and Senior Rates' Mess, HMS EXCELLENT, Whale Island, Portsmouth, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr. Nigel Atkinson).

Her Royal Highness, Royal Patron, National Coastwatch Institution, this afternoon visited Gosport Station, Signal Tower, Fort Blockhouse, Gosport, Hampshire, and subsequently attended a Reception at Hornet Services Sailing Club, Haslar Road, Gosport.

The Princess Royal, Commandant-in-Chief, First Aid Nursing Yeomanry (Princess Royal's Volunteer Corps), this evening attended a Recruits' Passing Out Parade at Wellington Barracks, London SW1, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa).

Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr. Teodoro Lopez Locsin was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of the Philippines to the Court of St. James's.

Mrs. Locsin was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Mr. João Paulo da Costa Rangel was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste to the Court of St. James's.

Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

His Honour the Hon. Russell Mirasty was received by The King this afternoon upon his appointment as Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan.

Her Honour Donna Mirasty was also received by His Majesty.

Her Excellency the Hon. Barbara Baker was received by The King upon her appointment as Governor of Tasmania.

Emeritus Professor Donald Chalmers was also received by His Majesty.

Kensington Palace

The Prince of Wales, Commodore-in-Chief, Submarines, this morning received Lieutenant Commander David Brannighan RN at Windsor Castle.

The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales, this afternoon visited the Kelly Holmes Trust to mark Mental Health Awareness Week and participated in the Trust's Social and Emotional Mental Health Programme at Percy Community Centre, New King Street, Bath, and was received by His Majesty's Lord Lieutenant of Somerset (Mr. Mohammed Saddiq).

St. James's Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh this morning visited Shakespeare North Playhouse Theatre, Prospero Place, Prescot, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside (Mr. Mark Blundell).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Shama Women's Centre, 39-45 Sparkenhoe Street, Leicester, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire (Mr. Michael Kapur).

The Duke of Edinburgh afterwards visited The African Caribbean Centre, Maidstone Road, Leicester.

His Royal Highness later visited King Richard III Visitor Centre, 4A St. Martins, Old Town, Leicester.

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron, Chartered Management Institute, this morning attended the Chartered Management Institute Women Annual Conference at the Institute of Engineering and Technology, 2 Savoy Place, London WC2.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon attended the Not Forgotten Association Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.

The King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard was on duty.

The Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment played selections of music during the afternoon.

The Princess Royal, Master, the Corporation of Trinity House, this morning chaired the Quarterly Meeting of the Court at Trinity House, Tower Hill, London EC3.

Her Royal Highness, Past Master, the Worshipful Company of Carmen, this afternoon opened the new Carmen Hall and subsequently attended a Service of Dedication at the Guild Church of St. Dunstan's-in-the-West, 186 Fleet Street, London EC4.

The Princess Royal, President, the Royal British Legion Women's Section, later attended a Service to mark the Sixtieth Anniversary of the end of National Service at the National Memorial Arboretum, Croxall Road, Alrewas, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire (Mr. Ian Dudson).

Buckingham Palace

Mr. Vinod Tailor (Deputy Lieutenant of Bedfordshire) was present at London Luton Airport this morning upon the Arrival of The President of Ukraine and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The King.

His Majesty was represented by Mrs. Jane MacLeod (His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute) at the Funeral of Mr. Kenneth MacKinnon (formerly Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute) which was held at Warriston Crematorium, Edinburgh, this afternoon.

The Princess Royal was represented by Mrs. Malcolm Innes.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, today held Receptions in the garden of Buckingham Palace for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award.

The British Army Band Tidworth and the Royal Air Force Squadronaires played selections of music during the day.
