The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Patron, and The Duchess of Gloucester this morning viewed the "Burma to Myanmar" exhibition at the British Museum, Great Russell Street, London WC1.

The Duke of Edinburgh this morning called upon Mr. Paul Mashatile (Deputy President of the Republic of South Africa) at O. R. Tambo House, Bryntirion Estate, Pretoria, South Africa.

His Royal Highness afterwards departed O. R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, for St. Helena and was received upon arrival this afternoon at St. Helena International Airport by the Governor of St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan Da Cunha (His Excellency Air Commodore Nigel Phillips).

The Duke of Edinburgh later attended a Meeting via video link with the Chief Islander of Tristan de Cunha (Mr. James Glass) and the Administrator (Mr. Philip Kendall).

His Royal Highness afterwards attended a Meeting in the Governor's Office at Plantation House with the Hon. Julie Thomas (Chief Minister of St. Helena).

The Duke of Edinburgh this evening attended a Reception at Plantation House in recognition of St. Helena's participation in Commonwealth and other International Sporting Events.

The Princess Royal this afternoon opened the Medical Research Council Laboratory of Medical Sciences, Imperial College NHS Trust, Hammersmith Hospital Campus, Du Cane Road, London W12, and was received by Mr. Kevin McGrath (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Livability, later attended the Thanksgiving Service to mark the One Hundred and Eightieth Anniversary, at All Hallows by the Tower, Byward Street, London EC3.

The Princess Royal, Royal Honorary Colonel, University of London Officers' Training Corps, this evening attended the Annual Reception at Yeomanry House, Handel Street, London WC1.

The Duke of Edinburgh this morning arrived in South Africa and, having been received upon arrival at Johannesburg O. R. Tambo International Airport by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of South Africa (His Excellency Mr. Antony Phillipson), subsequently undertook the following engagements in Pretoria.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Biodiversity and Conservation Luncheon at the Residence of the British High Commissioner to the Republic of South Africa.

The Duke of Edinburgh afterwards visited Pretoria National Botanical Garden, 2 Cussonia Street, Brummeria.

His Royal Highness, Patron, The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation, later attended a Reception in the garden of the Residence of the British High Commissioner to celebrate the success of the President's Award.

The Duke of Edinburgh this evening attended a Reception in support of the International Science Partnership at the Residence.

Sandringham, Norfolk

The Queen this morning visited Swindon Domestic Abuse Support Service, Swindon, to mark its Fiftieth Anniversary, officially named the charity's refuge, "Jenni's House", and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Mrs. Peter Troughton).

Her Majesty today visited Deacon and Son (Swindon) Limited, 11-15 Wood Street, Old Town, Swindon, to mark its One Hundred and Seventy Fifth Anniversary of trading.

The Duke of Edinburgh this evening departed Heathrow Airport, London, for South Africa.

The Queen, Patron, SafeLives, this morning opened the Safe Space at Aberdeen Art Gallery, Schoolhill, Aberdeen, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Aberdeen (Councillor David Cameron, the Lord Provost).

The King was represented by Mr. Toby Dennis (His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire) at the Memorial Service for Mr. Francis Dymoke (His Majesty's Champion) which was held in Lincoln Cathedral this afternoon.
