His Royal Highness, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, this afternoon officially opened the new St. John's Hub, Ambleside, Cumbria. The Duke of Gloucester, Vice Royal Patron, the Almshouse Association, later visited Cooper Pattinson's Trust Homes at Hunter House and Rayrigg Gardens, Windermere, Cumbria. His Royal Highness, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, subsequently visited the St. John Ambulance Event Medical Centre at Kendall Calling Music Festival, Shap, Cumbria. The Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary President, the Lawn Tennis Association, today attended the Summer County Cup at Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club, College Road, Eastbourne, and was received by Mrs. Sara Stonor (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex).
