    The Duke of Gloucester this morning opened the new Sixth Form building at Westcliff High School for Boys, Kenilworth Gardens, Westcliff-on-Sea, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Essex (the Lord Petre).

    His Royal Highness afterwards visited Gerald McDonald and Company Limited, Cranes Farm Road, Basildon, to mark their Centenary and was received by Mr. Jonathan Douglas-Hughes (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Essex).

    The Duke of Gloucester, Honorary Air Marshal, Royal Air Force, this afternoon visited Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome, Hackmans Lane, Purleigh, Essex, to mark their Centenary and opened the 37 Squadron Museum.

    The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Patron, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Association, today received Mr. Andrew Symons upon assuming his appointment as Chief Executive.

    Mr. Simon Koe (Chairman of the Board of Trustees) was present.
