    The Queen, Patron, this morning visited the National Institute of Agricultural Botany, Park Farm, Cambridge, to celebrate the Institute's Centenary and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire (Mrs. Julie Spence), the Board Chairman (Mr. James Godfrey) and the Mayor of Cambridge (Councillor Gerri Bird).

    Her Majesty toured the Institute, escorted by Dr. Tina Barsby (Chief Executive and Director), viewing various displays and meeting long-serving members of staff.

    The Queen, Patroness, was entertained to Luncheon at Queens' College, Cambridge, this afternoon by the President of the College (the Lord Eatwell) and was received by Mr. Richard Barnwell (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire).

    The Queen later visited Royal Papworth Hospital, Papworth Road, Cambridge Biomedical Campus, Cambridge, and was received by The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, the Chairman (Professor John Wallwork) and Mr. Stephen Posey (Chief Executive).

    Her Majesty, accompanied by Her Royal Highness and escorted by the Chairman and Chief Executive, toured the Hospital and met teams of members of staff and two former transplant patients, before opening the Hospital.

    The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, this evening held a Banquet at Windsor Castle for the Order of St. John.

    The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Patron, Missing People, this evening attended a Dinner at the BT Tower, 45 Maple Street, London W1.

    The Duchess of Gloucester, Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, Adjutant General's Corps, this afternoon received Colonel Frances Castle upon relinquishing her appointment as Corps Colonel and Colonel Karen Graham upon assuming the appointment, and Warrant Officer Class One Colin Morrison upon assuming his appointment as Corps Sergeant Major.

    Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Lowe (Regimental Secretary) was present.
