The Princess Royal, President, UK Fashion and Textile Association, this morning visited Advanced Clothing Solutions, 6 Dovecote Park, Centralpark, Motherwell, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Lanarkshire (the Lady Haughey).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Citizens Advice Scotland, today visited Hamilton Citizens Advice Bureau, 13 Regent Way, Regent Shopping Centre, Hamilton, and was received by Mr. Gavin Whitefield (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Lanarkshire).

The King was represented by Sir Stephen Lamport (Extra Equerry to His Majesty) at the Funeral of Mr. Oliver Everett (former Royal Librarian and Assistant Keeper of The Queen's Archives) at Dunmow Crematorium, Great Dunmow, Essex, this afternoon.

The King was represented by Brigadier Sir Melville Jameson at the Service of Thanksgiving for Lieutenant General Sir Norman Arthur (former Lord-Lieutenant of the Stewartry of Kirkcudbright and Governor of Edinburgh Castle) which was held at Colvend Parish Church, Colvend, Kirkcudbrightshire, this afternoon.

The Duke of Kent was represented by Brigadier Benjamin Edwards.
