    Buckingham Palace

    The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by the Right Reverend David Conner (Dean of Windsor) at the Memorial Service for the Very Reverend Patrick Mitchell (formerly Dean of Windsor) which was held in Wells Cathedral, Somerset, this afternoon.

    The Prince of Wales was represented by Mrs. Anne Maw.

    The Duke of York was represented by Miss Charlotte Manley.

    The Princess Royal was represented by Captain Sir Nicholas Wright RN.

    The Duke and Duchess of Kent were represented by Mr. Nicholas Turnbull.

    Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy was represented by the Reverend Canon Paul Wright.

    By command of The Queen, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon Her Excellency Mrs. Tamar Beruchashvili at 20 St. George's Square, London SW1, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquishing her appointment as Ambassador from Georgia to the Court of St. James's.

    Her Excellency Mrs. Fatimata Dia was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Senegal to the Court of St. James's.

    Mr. Mouhamadou Falilou Diagne was also received by Her Majesty.

    His Excellency Lieutenant General Paul Mihova was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Zambia in London.

    Mrs. Mihova was also received by Her Majesty.

    Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

    The Lord Peel (Lord Chamberlain) had an audience of The Queen this afternoon and presented an Address from the House of Lords to which Her Majesty was graciously pleased to make reply.

    His Excellency Mr. Abderrahmane Benguerrah was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Court of St. James's.

    Mrs. Benguerrah was also received by Her Majesty.

    His Excellency Mr. Andrei Kelin was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Russian Federation to the Court of St. James's.

    Mrs. Kelina was also received by Her Majesty.

    Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

    Lieutenant General Sir Andrew Gregory (Master Gunner, St. James's Park) was received by The Queen.

    The Queen held a Council at 5.30 p.m..

    There were present: the Rt. Hon. Jacob Rees-Mogg MP (Lord President), the Rt. Hon. Priti Patel MP (Secretary of State for the Home Department), the Rt. Hon. Alok Sharma MP (Secretary of State for International Development) and the Rt. Hon. Gavin Williamson MP (Secretary of State for Education).

    The Rt. Hon. Michael Ellis MP, the Rt. Hon. Sir Bernard McCloskey, the Rt. Hon Jesse Norman MP and the Rt. Hon. Valerie Vaz MP were sworn in as members of Her Majesty's Privy Council.

    The Rt. Hon. Sir Richard Arnold and the Rt. Hon. Dame Ingrid Simler made affirmation as members of Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council.

    Mr. Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

    The Rt. Hon. Jacob Rees-Mogg MP had an audience of Her Majesty before the Council.

    The Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.

    The Queen this morning opened the new Wolferton Pumping Station, King's Lynn, Norfolk, and was received by the Land Agent of the Sandringham Estate (Mr. Edward Parsons), Mr. Brian Long (Chairman, King's Lynn Drainage Board) and Mr. Philip Camamile (Chief Executive).

    Her Majesty, having been briefed on the reconstruction project and pump operations, viewed a demonstration of machinery and a display of historical items in the Control Room and met engineers, suppliers and members of staff.

    The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

    Sandringham, Norfolk

    The Queen, Honorary Air Commodore, today visited Royal Air Force Marham, King's Lynn, and was received this morning at the Integrated Learning Centre by the Station Commander (Group Captain James Beck).

    Her Majesty was received with a Royal Salute.

    The Queen moved into the Integrated Learning Centre and met current and former Officers Commanding the Centre, and Station personnel.

    Her Majesty received a demonstration of virtual training in the Air System Maintenance Trainer Classroom and viewed demonstrations of a canopy change, a weapons load and engine maintenance in the Integrated Learning Centre Hangar.

    The Queen observed the vertical landing of an F-35B Lightning stealth fighter jet.

    Her Majesty this afternoon attended a Reception in the Warrant Officers' and Sergeants' Mess and was subsequently entertained to Luncheon in the Officers' Mess by the Station Commander.

    The Lord Bethell (Lord-in-Waiting) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, this morning upon the Arrival of The Sultan of Brunei Darussalam and welcomed His Majesty on behalf of The Queen.
