    The Prince of Wales, Colonel-in-Chief, 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards, this afternoon received Lieutenant General Sir Simon Mayall upon relinquishing his appointment as Colonel and Brigadier Alan Richmond upon assuming the appointment.

    His Royal Highness later attended an Accounting for Sustainability Summit at St. James's Palace.

    The Prince of Wales afterwards opened the "Apertures of a Revolution. Photographs from December 1989" exhibition at the Romanian Cultural Institute, Belgrave Square, London SW1.

    The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, Helen and Douglas House, and Royal Patron, Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity, this afternoon received children and young people from the charities and helped them to decorate the Christmas Tree at Clarence House.

    The Prince of Wales this afternoon visited Sea Cleaners Charitable Trust, Auckland Harbour, and departed by boat for Wynward Quarter, Auckland.

    The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visited the Headquarters of Emirates Team New Zealand, Wynward Quarter.

    The Prince of Wales, Patron, Campaign for Wool, later held a Meeting, Cordis Hotel, Symonds Street, Auckland.

    His Royal Highness, President, subsequently attended a Reception for The Prince's Trust New Zealand, Mantells, Mount Eden Road, Mount Eden.

His Royal Highness afterwards received Mr. Taro Aso (Deputy Prime Minister of Japan) at the Residence of Her Majesty's Ambassador to Japan. The Prince of Wales subsequently attended a Reception given by Her Majesty's Ambassador to Japan (His Excellency Mr. Paul Madden) at the Residence. His Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner for The Emperor of Japan given by Mr. Shinzo Abe (Prime Minister of Japan) at the New Otani Hotel. The Duchess of Cornwall, Royal Colonel, 4th Battalion The Rifles, this morning received Lieutenant Colonel Peter Baines upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel James Allen upon assuming the appointment. Her Royal Highness afterwards received Colonel Richard Charrington (Colonel, The Royal Lancers, Queen Elizabeths' Own). The Duchess of Cornwall this evening held a Reception at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the Seventy Fifth Anniversary of ABF the Soldiers' Charity.
