    The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning visited New Lanark World Heritage Site, South Lanarkshire, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Lanarkshire (the Lady Haughey). His Royal Highness afterwards visited New Lanark Auction Mart, Lanark Agricultural Centre, Muirglen, Hyndford Road, Lanark. The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this afternoon received the winners of 'Who Cares Wins', at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire. His Royal Highness later held a Natasha Allergy Research Foundation Meeting at Dumfries House. The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay subsequently held a Rose Town Foundation Meeting at Dumfries House. The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay and The Duchess of Rothesay this evening held a Dinner at Dumfries House.

    The Prince of Wales this afternoon visited the XXII Commonwealth Games Athletes' Village, Edgbaston, Birmingham, and was received by Mr. Simon Topman (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands).

    His Royal Highness subsequently attended the Victoria Square Festival Live Site, Birmingham, and was received by Mr. Martin Levermore (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands).

    The Prince of Wales this evening attended a Reception to mark the Opening of the XXII Commonwealth Games, the Grand Hotel Birmingham, Colmore Row, Birmingham.

    The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, and The Duchess of Cornwall, having been received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Mr. John Crabtree), later viewed the Opening Ceremony and subsequently His Royal Highness opened the XXII Commonwealth Games, Birmingham 2022, at Alexander Stadium, Walsall Road, Birmingham.

    The Prince of Wales, Honorary Commodore, Maritime and Coastguard Agency, and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited Torre Abbey Grounds, the King's Drive, Torquay, to mark the Two Hundredth Anniversary of Her Majesty's Coastguard and were received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr. David Fursdon).

    His Royal Highness, President, The Prince's Trust, and Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Cockington Court, Cockington Lane, Torquay, and were received by Mr. Brian Wills-Pope (Deputy Lieutenant of Devon).

    The Prince of Wales, Patron, South Atlantic Medal Association, and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon attended a Reception onboard HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH, HM Naval Base, Portsmouth, to mark the Fortieth Anniversary of the end of the Falklands Conflict and were received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr. Nigel Atkinson).
