    The Prince of Wales this afternoon received the Governor-General of Canada (Her Excellency the Rt. Hon. Mary Simon) and Mr. Whit Fraser.

    His Royal Highness received the Rt. Hon. Nadhim Zahawi MP (Secretary of State for Education).

    The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince's Trust Canada, afterwards held a Meeting via video link to launch The Prince's Trust Canada Green Jobs and the Future of Work Programme.

    His Royal Highness, Patron, the Royal Collection Trust, later opened Pug Yard Learning Centre, Windsor Castle.

    The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, the Big Lunch, this afternoon attended the judging of the Platinum Pudding Competition at Fortnum and Mason, 181 Piccadilly, London W1.

    Her Royal Highness, Patron, the National Literacy Trust, later received Dame Julia Cleverdon upon relinquishing her appointment as Chairman and Mrs. Joanna Prior upon assuming the appointment.

    The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited Tate Britain, Millbank, London SW1, to mark the One Hundred and Twenty Fifth Anniversary of Tate and were received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa).

    The Prince of Wales subsequently met members of the Afghanistan community at St. Luke's Church, Redcliffe Gardens, London SW10, and was received by Lady Arnold (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

    The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening held a Reception for Members of Parliament at St. James's Palace.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall later met members of the Ukrainian community at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, Duke Street, London W1. The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon received the Baroness Kennedy of the Shaws (Director, International Bar Association's Human Rights Institute) and women refugee Judges from Afghanistan.

    The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning attended a Special Council Meeting at the Council Chamber, Civic Centre, Victoria Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, at which His Royal Highness presented the Letters Patent confirming Southend-on-Sea's City Status, and were received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Essex (Mrs. Jennifer Tolhurst). Their Royal Highnesses afterwards unveiled a new eco-friendly Pier Train at Southend Pier and Railway, Western Esplanade, Southend-on-Sea, and subsequently attended a Reception for volunteers and community leaders. The Prince of Wales this afternoon attended an Accounting for Sustainability Roundtable at St. James's Palace. His Royal Highness later held a Tea at Clarence House for supporters of the Powerlist Black Excellence Awards.
