    Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited the Musée d'Orsay, Paris.

    The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon attended an event for "les Voisins in Action" at the Trocadéro, Paris, to celebrate the strong ties between the young people of France and the United Kingdom.

    His Royal Highness, Patron, Welsh Rugby Union, and Her Royal Highness later attended the International Rugby Match between Wales and France at Stade de France, Paris.

    The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this evening arrived at Royal Air Force Marham from France.

    Mr. Miguel Head, Sir David Manning, Mr. Jason Knauf and Miss Rebecca Deacon were in attendance.

    The Duke of Cambridge, Colonel, Irish Guards, and The Duchess of Cambridge this morning presented shamrock at Cavalry Barracks, Hounslow, Middlesex, on the occasion of St. Patrick's Day and were received by Ms. Maria Pedro (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

    Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon departed Royal Air Force Northolt for France and were received upon arrival at Villacoublay Air Base by Her Majesty's Ambassador to the French Republic (His Excellency the Lord Llewellyn of Steep).

    The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were received later by The President of the French Republic at the Élysée Palace, Paris.

    Their Royal Highnesses afterwards attended a Reception given by Her Majesty's Ambassador to the French Republic at the British Embassy in Paris to mark the launch of "les Voisins", a celebration of the links between the United Kingdom and France.

    The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this evening attended a Dinner given by Her Majesty's Ambassador to the French Republic at the British Embassy.

    The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this morning attended a Service of Dedication on Horse Guards Parade, London SW1, for the Iraq and Afghanistan Memorial and, following a Royal Salute, were received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr. Kenneth Olisa), the Chief of the Defence Staff (Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach) and Air Vice Marshal Garry Tunnicliffe (Defence Services Secretary). The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Henry of Wales, The Duke of York, The Earl and Countess of Wessex, The Princess Royal, and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, accompanied by Earl of Ulster, were present. After the Service The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh drove to Richmond Terrace and were received by the Marshal of the Royal Air Force the Lord Stirrup KG (Chairman of Trustees, Iraq and Afghanistan Memorial Project). Her Majesty and His Royal Highness subsequently walked to Victoria Embankment Gardens and met Memorial Trustees and some of those who served in Iraq and Afghanistan between 1990 and 2015. The Bishop of Lambeth and Bishop to the Armed Forces afterwards dedicated the Memorial and The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, unveiled the Iraq and Afghanistan Memorial. Other Members of the Royal Family subsequently attended a Reception on Horse Guards Parade. The Queen was represented by Mr. David Medlock (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of the Lord Waddington (formerly Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Bermuda) which was held at St. John the Baptist Church, Horsington, Somerset, this afternoon.
