    Buckingham Palace

    The Duke of York, Patron, Kohima Educational Trust, this morning attended a Service in York Minster commemorating the Seventy Fifth Anniversary of the Battle of Kohima and was received by Mr. Peter Scrope (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of North Yorkshire).

    His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Luncheon given by the Archbishop of York (the Most Reverend Dr. John Sentamu) at Bishopthorpe Palace, York.

    The Duke of York afterwards viewed the York Minster Precinct Neighbourhood Plan at the Stoneyard, 4 Deangate, York.

    His Royal Highness was represented by Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) at the Memorial Service for Sir Charles Farr (Former Chairman of the Joint Intelligence Committee and Head of the Joint Intelligence Organisation) which was held at the Guards Chapel, Wellington Barracks, Birdcage Walk, London SW1, this morning.

    Palace Of Holyroodhouse

    The Rt. Hon. Kenneth Mackintosh MSP (Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament) was received by The Queen today.

    The Rt. Hon. Nicola Sturgeon MSP (First Minister of the Scottish Government) was received by Her Majesty.

    The Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry KT (Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland) was received by The Queen and reported on the recent proceedings of the General Assembly.

    Mr. Adair Anderson, winner of the annual shooting event of The Queen's Body Guard for Scotland, Royal Company of Archers, was presented to Her Majesty this afternoon and received The Queen's Prize.

    The Queen gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

    The Duke of York, The Earl of Wessex and Forfar and The Princess Royal were present.

    The Queen's Body Guard for Scotland, Royal Company of Archers and the High Constables of the Palace of Holyroodhouse were on duty.

    The Royal Marine Band Scotland, the Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland and the Royal Scottish Pipers' Society played selections of music during the afternoon.

    The Duke of York this afternoon visited Lindores Abbey Distillery, Abbey Road, Newburgh, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Fife (Mr. Robert Balfour).

    His Royal Highness later visited Optos Limited, Carnegie Campus, Enterprise Way, Dunfermline, Fife.

    The Duke of York today carried out the following engagements in Singapore.

    His Royal Highness this morning called upon Minister S. Iswaan (Minister of Communications and Information) at the Old Hill Street Police Station.

    The Duke of York afterwards visited Innovfest Unbound, Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre, Bayfront Avenue.

    His Royal Highness later received Minister Janil Puthucheary (Minister of State, Ministry of Education and Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information) at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre.

    The Duke of York was received this afternoon by The President of the Republic of Singapore at the Istana, Orchard Road.

    His Royal Highness afterwards received Mr. Goh Chok Tong (Emeritus Senior Minister) at the Istana.
