    The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited Rowley Mile Racecourse and unveiled a statue of King Charles II to mark the Three Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Home of Horseracing, the Links.

    Her Royal Highness afterwards attended a Lunch at the Jockey Club Rooms, 101 High Street.

    The Duchess of Cornwall later visited Juddmonte Farms, Banstead Manor Stud, Cheveley.

    Her Majesty and His Royal Highness, escorted respectively by the Chairman (General Sir Richard Shirreff) and Mrs. Janice Murray (Director General), visited the Army Gallery and Soldier Gallery and met members of staff and volunteers.

    The Princess Royal was represented by Rear Admiral Sir Jeremy de Halpert.

    Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy was represented by Commander Timothy Ash RN.
