    The Princess Royal, Prime Warden, the Fishmongers' Company, this morning chaired the Committee of Wardens and Court Meetings and subsequently attended a Luncheon at Fishmongers' Hall, London Bridge, London EC4.

    Her Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of London, this afternoon opened the King's College London Wellcome/Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council Centre for Medical Engineering at St. Thomas' Hospital, 249 Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1, and was received by Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Traverse-Healy (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

    The Princess Royal, Patron, First World War Centenary Woods Project, this evening held a Dinner at Windsor Castle.

    The Queen arrived at Portsmouth Harbour Station this morning and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr. Nigel Atkinson) and the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth (Councillor Kenneth Ellcome).

    Her Majesty drove to The Princess Royal Jetty at HM Naval Base, Portsmouth, and was received by The Princess Royal (Commodore-in-Chief, Portsmouth) and Commodore Jeremy Kyd RN (Captain of HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH).

    The Queen, accompanied by The Princess Royal and the Captain, embarked in HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH and was received by Admiral Sir Philip Jones (First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff) before being received with a Royal Salute.

    Her Majesty and Her Royal Highness inspected the Parade.

    The Queen and The Princess Royal afterwards attended the Commissioning Ceremony of HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH led by the Chaplain of the Fleet (the Venerable Ian Wheatley) and Her Majesty was graciously pleased to address the Ship's Company and the Captain replied.

    The Queen and The Princess Royal this afternoon attended a Reception onboard the Ship and met representatives of the Ship's Company, the Aircraft Carrier Alliance and the wider Royal Navy family.

    Her Majesty, with Her Royal Highness, was subsequently entertained to Luncheon by the Captain on board HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH.

    The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

    The Princess Royal, Commodore-in-Chief, Portsmouth, this morning having toured the Ship, today attended the commissioning of HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH by The Queen at HM Naval Base, Portsmouth, Hampshire.

    Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Royal Three Counties Show, this afternoon attended a Reception at the Showground, Malvern, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire (Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Holcroft).

    Her Royal Highness afterwards attended a Centenary Service for Dr. Elsie Inglis in St. Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh.

    The Princess Royal later opened the Sanne Emilienne Moreau Evrard Room at the Consulate General for France in Scotland, Lothian Chambers, Parliament Square, Edinburgh.

    Her Royal Highness subsequently attended a Reception at City Chambers, 253 High Street, Edinburgh.

    The Princess Royal, Vice Patron, the British Horse Society, this evening held a Seventieth Anniversary Dinner at Buckingham Palace.
