    Her Royal Highness later opened the new National Office of the YMCA at 1 Chesser Avenue, Edinburgh, on the occasion of its One Hundred and Seventy Fifth Anniversary.

    The Princess Royal, Chancellor, the University of Edinburgh, afterwards attended a Reception to mark the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the First Seven Women to attend a British University, St. Cecilia's Hall, 50 Niddry Street, Edinburgh.
