    The Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen via telephone this evening.

    The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, and The Duchess of Cambridge gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace.

    Princess Beatrice, Mrs. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, The Earl and Countess of Wessex and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.

    Her Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms and The Queen's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.

    The Band of the Welsh Guards and the British Army Band Tidworth played selections of music during the afternoon.

    Their Royal Highnesses today visited the Royal Agricultural Society Show Ground, 490 Newport Road, Cowes, and were received by Brigadier Maurice Sheen (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of the Isle of Wight).

    The Earl of Wessex this afternoon visited Independent Arts, 48 - 49 High Street, Newport.

    The Earl and Countess of Wessex afterwards visited Columbus House, 189 Sandown Road, Shanklin.

    The Countess of Wessex this morning visited East Newport Family Centre, Barnardo's, Furrlongs, Newport, and was received by Mrs. Claire Locke (Deputy Lieutenant of the Isle of Wight).

    The Earl and Countess of Wessex this morning visited Glacis Field, Jersey, to unveil a saluting gun battery commissioned to commemorate The Duke of Edinburgh.

    Their Royal Highnesses later attended Jersey's Liberation Day Service at Liberation Square, St. Helier.

    The Earl and Countess of Wessex subsequently met senior citizens and viewed the Liberation Day March Past at the Pomme d'Or Hotel, Liberation Square.

    Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon departed from Jersey for Guernsey and, having been received upon arrival by the Lieutenant-Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Bailiwick of Guernsey (Lieutenant General Richard Cripwell), undertook the following engagements.

    The Earl and Countess of Wessex attended a Liberation Day Tea Dance at Beau Sejour Leisure Centre, Amherst, St. Peter Port.

    Their Royal Highnesses afterwards attended a Church Service at Castle Cornet.
