    Admiral Anthony Radakin was received by The Queen today upon his appointment as First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff.

    Ms. Bridget Brind was received in audience by The Queen this afternoon and kissed hands upon her appointment as Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

    Mr. Nameer Al-Hadithi was also received by Her Majesty.

    Mr. Nicholas Woolley was received in audience by The Queen upon his appointment as British High Commissioner to the Republic of Zambia.

    Ms. Deborah Sidwell was also received by Her Majesty.

    The Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.

    By command of The Queen, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr. Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky at 35 Eaton Place, London SW1, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from Hungary to the Court of St. James's.

    The Princess Royal, President, Riding for the Disabled Association, this afternoon visited the Haworth Group, Vale Mill Lane Stables, Haworth, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire (Mr. Edmund Anderson).

    Her Royal Highness, President, Victim Support, later opened new facilities at Victim Support Wakefield, 19-25 Wood Street, Wakefield, and was received by the Lord St. Oswald (Deputy Lieutenant of West Yorkshire).

    The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

    The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by the Lord Janvrin (Permanent Lord in Waiting) at the Memorial Service for Professor Sir Michael Howard OM which was held at King's College London, Strand, London WC2, this morning.

    The Princess Royal was represented by Professor Wendy Thomson.

    The Duke of Kent was represented by the Lord Fellowes.
