    The Duke of Cambridge today carried out the following engagements in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. His Royal Highness this morning visited the Viewing Point at the Mount of Olives, Jerusalem. The Duke of Cambridge afterwards visited the Church of St. Mary Magdalene near the Garden of Gethsemane, Jerusalem. His Royal Highness later visited Haram al-Sharif, Old City of Jerusalem, Jerusalem. The Duke of Cambridge subsequently visited the Western Wall, Old City of Jerusalem. His Royal Highness afterwards visited the Muristan, Muristan Street, next to the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Old City of Jerusalem. The Duke of Cambridge this afternoon visited the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, St. Helena Road, Christian Quarter, Old City of Jerusalem. His Royal Highness this evening arrived at Royal Air Force Brize Norton from Israel. Sir David Manning, Mr. Miguel Head and Mr. Jason Knauf were in attendance.

    The Earl of Wessex this morning opened the Centre for Clinical Haematology with Cure Leukaemia at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Mindelsohn Way, Birmingham, and was received by Dame Christine Braddock (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands). His Royal Highness subsequently visited the National College for High Speed Rail, 2 Lister Street, Birmingham, and was received by Mr. David Clarke (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands). The Earl of Wessex, Patron, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, this afternoon attended a Lunch and Performance at Symphony Hall, Broad Street, Birmingham, and was received by Mr. Stephen Goldstein (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands). The Countess of Wessex, Honorary Air Commodore, today attended the Race for the Line Finals at Royal Air Force Wittering, Peterborough, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire (Mrs. Julie Spence).

    Her Excellency the Hon. Titilupe Fanetupouvava'u Tu'ivakano was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Kingdom of Tonga in London. Mr. Siaosi Kiu Kaho was also received by Her Majesty. His Excellency Colonel Christian Katsande was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Zimbabwe to the Court of St. James's. Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present. The Queen, Colonel-in-Chief, Canadian Forces Military Engineering Branch, this afternoon received Brigadier Stephen Irwin (Colonel Commandant) and Chief Warrant Officer Glenn Simpkin. The Queen held a Council at 5.30 p.m.. There were present: the Rt. Hon. Andrea Leadsom MP (Lord President), the Rt. Hon. Karen Bradley MP (Secretary of State for Northern Ireland), the Rt. Hon. Alun Cairns MP (Secretary of State for Wales) and the Rt. Hon. Esther McVey MP (Secretary of State for Work and Pensions). The Baroness Chakrabarti made affirmation as a member of Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council. Mr. Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council. The Rt. Hon. Andrea Leadsom MP had an audience of The Queen before the Council. The Rt. Hon. Theresa May MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of Her Majesty this evening. The Queen was represented by The Duchess of Cornwall at the Memorial Service for Mrs. Anne Wyndham which was held in Chelsea Old Church, Old Church Street, London SW3, this afternoon. Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy was represented by Mrs. Peter Afia.

The Duke of Cambridge afterwards viewed Israeli technology demonstrations at Beit Ha'ir Museum, 27 Bialik Street, Tel Aviv-Jaffa. His Royal Highness subsequently attended an Israeli Civil Society Reception at Beit Ha'ir Museum. The Duke of Cambridge was later received by The Palestinian President at the Presidency, Al Isral Street, Ramallah. His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Jalazone Health Clinic, Jalazone Refugee Camp, North Ramallah. The Duke of Cambridge subsequently visited Jalazone Girls' School, Jalazone Refugee Camp. His Royal Highness afterwards attended a Cultural Festival at the Ramallah Municipality City Hall, Issa Ziadeh Street, Ramallah. The Duke of Cambridge this evening attended a Reception given by Her Majesty's Consul-General for Jerusalem (Mr. Philip Hall) at the British Consulate, 15 Ragheb Nashashibi Street, Sheikh Jarrah, Jerusalem.
