    The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the Air League, was represented by Sir Hugh Duberly (formerly Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire) at a Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Sir Michael Marshall (former Chairman and President of the Air League) which was held in Ely Cathedral, Cambridgeshire, this morning. The Prince of Wales was represented by Mrs. Julie Spence. The Earl of Wessex was represented by Mr. Richard Barnwell. The Duke of Gloucester was represented by Major the Lord Fairhaven. The Duke of Kent was represented by Earl of St. Andrews.

    The Princess Royal, President, Royal Yachting Association, this afternoon attended a Luncheon at Goldsmiths' Hall, 13 Foster Lane, London EC2. Her Royal Highness afterwards visited the Metropolitan Police Service Special Escort Group Headquarters in London and was received by Colonel Simon Duckworth (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London). The Princess Royal, Chancellor, University of the Highlands and Islands, later received Professor Clive Mulholland upon relinquishing his appointment as Vice-Chancellor and Professor Crichton Lang upon assuming the appointment. Her Royal Highness, Royal Patron, National Coastwatch Institution, this evening attended a Twenty Fifth Anniversary Reception, the Corporation of Trinity House, Tower Hill, London EC3.

    The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge today visited Bradford City Hall, Centenary Square, Bradford, and were received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire (Mr. Edmund Anderson). Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon visited MyLahore British Asian Kitchen, 52 Great Horton Road, Bradford. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge afterwards joined representatives from Near Neighbours and Better Start Bradford at the Khidmat Centre, 36 Spencer Road, Bradford.
