    Sandringham, Norfolk

    Today being the Feast of the Epiphany, a Sung Eucharist was held in the Chapel Royal, St. James's Palace, when the customary offerings of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh were made on behalf of The Queen by Air Vice-Marshal David Hobart and Brigadier Jonathan Bourne-May (Gentlemen Ushers to Her Majesty). The Right Reverend and Rt. Hon. the Lord Chartres (Dean of Her Majesty's Chapels Royal) was the Celebrant and presented the Offerings, assisted by the Reverend Canon Paul Wright (Sub-Dean of Her Majesty's Chapels Royal) and the Reverend Richard Bolton and the Reverend William Whitcombe (Priests in Ordinary). The Queen's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard was on duty in the Chapel.

    The Duchess of Rothesay, Honorary Member, Scottish Women's Rural Institutes (Ballater Branch), this morning attended a Coffee Morning at the Albert Hall, Station Square, Ballater, Aberdeenshire.

    The Princess Royal, Honorary President, this afternoon attended the Oxford Farming Conference at the Examination Schools, 75-81 High Street, Oxford, and was received by the Reverend Canon Glyn Evans (Deputy Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).
