The following members of The Queen's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were received by Her Majesty today: Colonel Michael Kingscote who delivered up his Stick of Office upon his retirement as Lieutenant when The Queen invested him with the Insignia of a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order, Major Henry Robertson who delivered up his Stick of Office as Clerk of the Cheque and Adjutant and received his Stick of Office upon his appointment as Lieutenant, Major Christopher Cox who delivered up his Stick of Office as Ensign and received his Stick of Office upon his appointment as Clerk of the Cheque and Adjutant, Colonel Jonathan Schute who delivered up his Stick of Office as Exon and received his Stick of Office upon his appointment as Ensign, and Brigadier Andrew Hughes who received his Stick of Office upon his appointment as Exon.
The following members of Her Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms were received by The Queen: Colonel Peter Flach who delivered up his Stick of Office upon relinquishing his appointment as Clerk of the Cheque and Adjutant and received his Stick of Office upon his appointment as Lieutenant, Major David Kennard who delivered up his Stick of Office upon his retirement as Standard Bearer, Major Charles Macfarlane who delivered up his Stick of Office as Harbinger and received his Stick of Office upon his appointment as Standard Bearer, Colonel Edward Bolitho who received his Stick of Office upon his appointment as Clerk of the Cheque and Adjutant, and Lieutenant Colonel Rory Ingleby-Mackenzie who received his Stick of Office upon his appointment as Harbinger.
Major General Christopher Ghika (Major General Commanding Household Division) was received by The Queen this afternoon.
