    The Prince of Wales was present at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Earl of Home KT which was held at the Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, London WC2, this afternoon.

    His Royal Highness, President, the Football Association, later visited the England Men's World Cup team at St. George's Park, Newborough Road, Needwood, Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire.

    Today is the Seventy Fourth Anniversary of the Birthday of The King.

    His Majesty was represented by the Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry KT at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Earl of Home KT which was held at the Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, London WC2, this afternoon.

    The Queen Consort was represented by the Hon. Virginia Carington.

    The Princess Royal was represented by Leonora, Countess of Lichfield.

    The Duke and Duchess of Kent were represented by Mr. Nicolas Adamson.

    Buckingham Palace

    The King laid a wreath at the Cenotaph this morning on the occasion of Remembrance Day.

    A wreath was laid on behalf of The Queen Consort by Captain Edward Andersen.

    Wreaths were also laid by The Prince of Wales, The Earl of Wessex and The Princess Royal.

    A wreath was laid on behalf of The Duke of Kent by Captain Charles Longstaff.

    The Queen Consort, The Princess of Wales, The Countess of Wessex, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent, Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence were present during the Ceremony.

    The Earl of Wessex afterwards took the salute at the March Past of Ex-Servicemen and Civilian Organisations on Horse Guards Parade, London SW1.
