The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this morning held an Early Years Meeting at Windsor Castle.

Buckingham Palace

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs. Kim Keon Hee today commenced a State Visit to The King and Queen.

The Prince and Princess of Wales welcomed The President and Mrs. Kim on behalf of The King at the Four Seasons Hotel, 10 Trinity Square, London EC3.

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs. Kim Keon Hee, accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses, drove to Horse Guards and were met by The King and Queen.

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs. Kim Keon Hee, accompanied by The King and Queen, drove in a Carriage Procession to Buckingham Palace with a Sovereign's Escort of the Household Cavalry.

Gun Salutes were fired in Green Park by The King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery, and at the Tower of London by the Honourable Artillery Company.

Guards of Honour were provided at Horse Guards by F Company Scots Guards and at Buckingham Palace by 1st Battalion Welsh Guards.

His Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms, The King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard and a Detachment of Household Cavalry were on duty.

The King presented The President of the Republic of Korea with the Insignia of an Honorary Knight Grand Cross of the Civil Division of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath.

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs. Kim Keon Hee, accompanied by The Duke of Gloucester, this afternoon visited the Korean War Memorial, Victoria Embankment Gardens, London SW1, where The President and Mrs. Kim laid a wreath and His Royal Highness, Patron, the British Korean Veterans Association, also laid a wreath.

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs. Kim Keon Hee subsequently met United Kingdom Korean War veterans.

The President and Mrs. Kim afterwards drove to Westminster Abbey where His Excellency laid a wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior.

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs. Kim Keon Hee met General Sir Adrian Bradshaw (Governor of the Royal Hospital Chelsea) and In-Pensioners who fought in the Korean War, before touring the Abbey, escorted by the Dean (the Very Reverend Dr. David Hoyle).

The President and Mrs. Kim afterwards drove to the Palace of Westminster and were received by the Lord Speaker (the Lord McFall of Alcluith) and the Speaker of the House of Commons (the Rt. Hon. Sir Lindsay Hoyle).

The Speaker welcomed The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs. Kim Keon Hee and His Excellency delivered an Address.

The President and Mrs. Kim subsequently attended a Reception with Peers, Members of Parliament and other guests.

The Rt. Hon. Jeremy Hunt MP (Chancellor of the Exchequer) had an audience of The King this afternoon.

The Lord Hodge (Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland) was received by His Majesty and reported on the recent proceedings of the General Assembly.

Buckingham Palace

The King, accompanied by The Queen, travelled in State to the Palace of Westminster today to open the Session of Parliament.

Their Majesties drove in a Carriage Procession, escorted by a Sovereign's Escort of The Household Cavalry, under the command of Major William Charlesworth, The Blues and Royals, and were received at the Sovereign's Entrance by the Earl Marshal and the Lord Great Chamberlain.

Guards of Honour were mounted at Buckingham Palace by 1st Battalion Welsh Guards with The King's Colour, under the command of Major Andrew Campbell, and at the Palace of Westminster by F Company Scots Guards with the State Colour, under the command of Major James Drummond Moray.

A staircase party of The Household Cavalry was on duty at Victoria Tower, House of Lords, under the command of Captain Mark Quickfall.

Royal Salutes were fired in Green Park by The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery, under the command of Major John Baileff, and from the Tower of London Saluting Battery by the Honourable Artillery Company, under the command of Major Matthew Aldridge.

The Imperial State Crown, the Cap of Maintenance and the Sword of State were conveyed previously to the House of Lords in a Carriage Procession, escorted by a Regalia Escort of the Household Cavalry.

His Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms was on duty in the Prince's Chamber and the King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard.

The King's Bargemaster and Watermen were on duty.

The Ladies and Gentlemen of the Household and the Pages of Honour to The King (Nicholas Barclay, Ralph Tollemache, Charles van Cutsem and Lord Oliver Cholmondeley) and the Pages of Honour to The Queen (William Keswick and Arthur Elliott) were in attendance at the Palace of Westminster.

Their Majesties returned to Buckingham Palace and were received by the Lord Chamberlain and the Vice-Chamberlain of the Household.

The King and Queen this evening attended the Royal Ballet's performance of Carlos Acosta's "Don Quixote" at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London WC2, to recognise and thank front line National Health Service workers, and education and arts providers, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), Sir Lloyd Dorfman (Chairman of the Royal Opera House) and Mr. Alexander Beard (Chief Executive).

Buckingham Palace

The King and Queen today visited Brecon Cathedral to mark the Centenary of the Diocese and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Powys (Mrs. Tia Jones), the Rt. Hon. Mark Drakeford MS (First Minister of Wales), the Bishop of Swansea and Brecon and Miss Michaela Davies (Mayor of Brecon).

Their Majesties, escorted by the Very Reverend Dr. Paul Shackerley (Dean of Brecon) and the Very Reverend Canon Steven Griffith (Residentiary Canon and Precentor), met Cathedral staff, members of the congregation and representatives from across the Diocese, before listening to a musical performance by the Royal Welsh School of Music and Drama, also marking the first day of Brecon Choir Festival.

The King and Queen this afternoon visited Brecknock Agricultural Society's Show and, having been received by the President of Brecknockshire Agricultural Society (Mrs. Edna Walters) and Mr. Alan Roberts (Chairman), met exhibitors and viewed livestock, before walking to Theatr Brycheiniog, Canal Wharf, Brecon.

Having been received by the Chairman of Theatr Brycheiniog (Mr. Andrew Collinson) and Ms. Emma Flatley (Director Designate), Their Majesties attended a Reception for members of the local community, and volunteering and rescue services.

The King afterwards visited 160 Brigade at Brecon Barracks, was received by the Brigade Commander (Brigadier Nicholas Thomas) and attended a Reception.

The Queen afterwards met representatives and staff from Calan DVS domestic abuse charity.

By command of The King, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr. Pharidh Kan at the Embassy of Cambodia, 64 Brondesbury Park, London NW6, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Court of St. James's.

By command of His Majesty, the Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps afterwards called upon His Excellency Dr. Michael Zimmermann at 18 Belgrave Square, London SW1, in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Austria to the Court of St. James's.

Buckingham Palace

Colonel Tom Bonas was received by The King this afternoon upon relinquishing his appointment as Regimental Adjutant of the Welsh Guards when His Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order.

The King afterwards held a Reception to mark the Fortieth Anniversary of The Prince of Wales's Charitable Fund at Clarence House.

His Majesty later received Prince Rahim Aga Khan (Aga Khan Development Network and Aga Khan Foundation).

The Queen this afternoon attended the Lawn Tennis Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Wimbledon, London SW19.

His Majesty was present at The King's Birthday Parade on Horse Guards Parade this morning at which The King's Colour of the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards was Trooped.

The King was accompanied by The Queen (Colonel, Grenadier Guards), The Duke of Kent (Colonel, Scots Guards), The Prince of Wales (Colonel, Welsh Guards), The Princess of Wales (Colonel, Irish Guards), The Princess Royal (Gold Stick in Waiting and Colonel, The Blues and Royals, Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons) and The Duke of Edinburgh (Royal Honorary Colonel, 1st Battalion London Guards).

His Majesty was attended by Lieutenant General Sir Edward Smyth-Osbourne (Colonel, The Life Guards), Lieutenant General Sir James Bucknall (Colonel, Coldstream Guards) and Major General Christopher Ghika (Major General Commanding Household Division).

The Lord de Mauley (Master of the Horse), Colonel Toby Browne, Lieutenant Colonel Stephen Segrave, (Mounted Equerries in Waiting), Lieutenant Colonel Michael Vernon, Captain James Boggis-Rolfe (Dismounted Equerries in Waiting) and Colonel Mark Berry (The Life Guards, Silver Stick in Waiting) were in attendance.

The Procession was led by Lieutenant Colonel James Shaw, Grenadier Guards (Brigade Major Household Division).

The troops on Parade, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel John Livesey, Welsh Guards (Field Officer in Brigade Waiting), received The King with a Royal Salute.

The Queen, The Princess of Wales with Prince George of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales and Prince Louis of Wales, The Duchess of Edinburgh, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence and other Members of the Royal Family drove to Horse Guards Parade and witnessed The King's Birthday Parade.

On the conclusion of the Parade, His Majesty rode back to Buckingham Palace at the head of The King's Guard, preceded by The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery, under the command of Major Francesca Sykes, the Massed Mounted Bands of the Household Cavalry, the Sovereign's Escort of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment, under the command of Major William Charlesworth (The Blues and Royals, Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons), and the Massed Bands of the Guards Division.

On arrival at Buckingham Palace, The King's Guard entered the Forecourt and formed up opposite the Old Guard, the remaining Guards marching past His Majesty. The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment and The King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery ranked past The King.

His Majesty, from Buckingham Palace, witnessed a fly-past by aircraft of the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force, led by Wing Commander Noel Rees, to mark the official celebration of The King's Birthday.

Royal Salutes were fired today by The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery in Green Park and from the Tower of London Saluting Battery by the Honourable Artillery Company, under the command of Captain Alexander Offer.

The Rt. Hon. Christopher Hipkins MP (Prime Minister of New Zealand) was received in audience by The King this afternoon.

The King and The Queen Consort gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace to celebrate Their Majesties' Coronation.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and The Duke of Kent were present.

His Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.

The Band of the Welsh Guards and the Waterloo Band of The Rifles with support from the Salamanca Band of The Rifles played selections of music during the afternoon.

Later, the Rt. Hon. Rishi Sunak MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of His Majesty.

Mr. Harry Goring (Deputy Lieutenant of West Sussex) was present at Gatwick Airport, London, today upon the Arrival of the Acting Governor-General of Saint Lucia and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The King.

Ms. Roxane Zand (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) was present at St. Pancras International Railway Station today upon the Arrival of the Governor-General of New Zealand and welcomed Her Excellency on behalf of His Majesty.
