The Duchess of Cambridge guest edited The Huffington Post UK as part of her continuing work to highlight the importance of children's mental health.

Her Royal Highness joined the HuffPost UK team in a temporary newsroom set up at Kensington Palace to launch Young Minds Matter, an initiative that discusses the problems, causes, and most importantly the solutions to the stigma surrounding the UK's mental health problem among children.

The Duchess helped commission a series of articles, blogs and videos from a number of leading figures in the mental health sector that she has previously worked with as part of her ongoing focus in this area - including from Michelle Obama, the First Lady of the United States of America. The content also drew attention to the inspiring work being done by parents, teachers, young people and researchers around the country.

The Young Minds Matter initiative takes a well-rounded view of the issue, focussing on areas that The Duchess feels are crucial when it comes to championing children's mental wellbeing. These include programmes aimed to help primary aged children, efforts at early intervention, the importance of breaking the cycle of multi-generational mental health issues and the progress being made through art therapy.
