The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have sent the following message to the people of Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe:

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who have been affected by the devastating impact of Cyclone Idai across Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.

We are hugely saddened to hear of the loss of life and destruction it has caused, and our hearts go out to all those who have lost their loved ones, homes and livelihoods.
