The Duke of Cambridge visits Manchester

The Duke met with people affected by last week's attack at the Manchester Arena.

The Duke of Cambridge visited Manchester today to meet those affected by last week's attack.

His Royal Highness chatted to first responders and members of the community who were some of the first on the scene at Manchester Arena, including Greater Manchester Police Officers, St John's Ambulance, Northern Rail workers and local taxi drivers.

The Duke signed the Book of Condolence at Manchester Cathedral, and paid tribute to how the city has responded to the attack.

Manchester's strength and together is an example to the world. My thoughts are with those affected.

The Duke also visited Royal Manchester Children's Hospital to privately meet with families who have been supported following the attack.
