The Duke of Kent celebrates the Lorne Scots' 150th anniversary in Canada

The Duke of Kent has travelled to Ontario, Canada, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Lorne Scots Regiment of the Canadian Army.
The Duke joined in with several days of celebrations, during which he met many members of the Regiment, both past and present. The Duke has been Colonel-in-Chief of the Lorne Scots (Peel, Dufferin and Halton Regiment) since 1977.
During his visit, The Duke unveiled several monuments to mark the anniversary, including at Georgetown Memorial Park, and the Oakville Monument at St George's Square Park.
The Duke also paid a visit to Brampton Fire Station Hall, before taking the salute at the Lorne Scots' Trooping of the colours Parade.
