The free awards scheme is open to anyone, anywhere who want to earn digital skills and experience.
Earlier this week, The Duke of York hosted the Inspiring Digital Enterprise Awards at Buckingham Palace
iDEA is an international programme that helps people of all ages develop digital and enterprise skills for free. Like The Duke of Edinburgh Awards, participants can gain invaluable experience and skills by taking part in Bronze and Silver award programmes.
Through a series of online challenges, people can learn how to be safe online, design a website or educate themselves on cyber security, cloud computing, animation and more.
iDEA was launched by The Duke of York in October 2014, with the Silver Award launched in August 2018.
IDEA is accessible to all is not only used in schools, but also by job seekers, university students, pensioners, the prison service, community groups, people with learning difficulties and more.
This film features interviews with some of the participants – who reveal what taking part in the iDEA awards has done for them.
For the first time ever, The iDea Awards were held in Buckingham Palace on Tuesday night.
