The Earl of Wessex opens the transformed Royal Airforce Museum

As part of the RAF's centenary celebrations, The Earl of Wessex opened the recently redeveloped Royal Airforce Museum in London.
The Earl of Wessex is Honorary Air Commodore of Royal Airforce Waddington, and today's event helped mark the RAF's Centenary and Armed Forces Day which takes place on 30 June 2018.
The museum has undergone a transformation which includes anew innovative exhibition galleries.
The Earl had a chance to see some of the new exhibitions, including 'The Age of Uncertainty – 1982 to present day' in Hangar 6.
This display shows the RAF's recent history and looks how technological change during this time has enabled the RAF to be agile, adaptable and responsive.
In Hangar 1, His Royal Highness was shown the 'First 100 Years, 1918-2018 and RAF, First to the Future' exhibition, which features two new interactive exhibitions.
During the visit, The Earl also had the opportunity to meet people who have been involved, and supported, the museum's latest transformation.
