The Earl of Wessex continues his UK tour marking the 60th Anniversary of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award by visiting the Sea Cadets and Army Cadets in Salisbury and Downton to see how the Award aids their Cadets' development.

At the Salisbury Sea Cadets The Earl spoke with Cadets about how The Duke of Edinburgh's Award has helped them in their development, before taking to the water with them for a boat race.

He also spoke with Cadets about their 'DofEChallenge‬' - a unique challenge for the Awards' 60th year, which was to 'row' from Salisbury to Windsor Castle.

The Earl continued his visit with a trip to meet Army Cadets at Downton, to view demonstrations of their own DofEChallenge, which included Leadership and Shooting. He then tried his hand at Archery with the Cadets, before presenting Awards to several of them.
