The Earl of Wessex watches The Royal Wessex Yeomanry train in Germany

The Earl, who is the Royal Honorary Colonel of the The Royal Wessex Yeomanry, visited the Sennelager Training Area.

The Earl of Wessex visited Germany earlier this week to watch a training demonstration by The Royal Wessex Yeomanry (RWxY).

The Earl is the Royal Honorary Colonel of the The Royal Wessex Yeomanry, which is the nation's Armoured Reserve Regiment. Currently the regiment is training alongside the U.S Michigan Army National Guard.

 The Earl spent time speaking to soldiers from both units to get an insight on how their training was progressing.
