#GardenGram: a unique perspective of the Buckingham Palace Garden on Instagram

Published

As the clocks went back this week, the Buckingham Palace social media channels have been celebrating the Autumnal landscape in the Buckingham Palace gardens.

Four photographers were invited to give their unique perspective, as they went on a behind the scenes tour of the Buckingham Palace Garden.

Showcased on The Royal Family’s Instagram Channel #GardenGram – photographers @lakudavies, @londonviewpoints, @prettycitylondon and @pli.panda - have captured the variety of trees and flora which contribute to the city’s thriving eco-system.

Growing in the garden is a variety of trees, shrubs, wildflowers and bulbs – around 6,500 plants altogether, including 1,400 and 5,000 species. There are 200 species of trees and 260 types of wildflowers including orchids.

To see snapshot of their work and enjoy wonderful pictures of just some of the thousands of species planted in the Buckingham Palace Instagram, follow @theroyalfamily on Instagram.
